My family and I have been patients at this practice for years. We have been very happy with our care.

Worst

Refusal to do test that specialist recommended. Quick to judge. Misstakes in system. Your files go in a system after you put them on paper they don't always go in correctly. Nasty...

Editorial review from Citysearch 1/22/2013

COMPLETE waste of time. The receptionists there are obviously rude, as the previous reviews have stated, but who really cares. They don’t know anything, that’s why their receptionists. They could at the very least though, be more clear when you go in there as a new patient. They just told me to sit down and then called me back up when they realized I had never been there before. They also screamed across the lobby to ask me questions while I was waiting to be seen. She asked how I heard of them so that everyone could hear my answer. Strange way to conduct business. Once I got called back, the nurse was actually very pleasant. Once she left the patient room and I was waiting for the doctor things started to go downhill again. I waited in there for 22 minutes. Exactly. Once the doctor came in to see me it became very clear that I made a really poor decision to go there. He asked me why I came to see him... so I started to tell him. While I was talking he did not make eye contact with me once. He began to type things into the computer and respond to what I was saying with phrases like ""what did you find that on Google?"" or ""a lot of people deal with that..."" and ""that’s very normal"". He started calling the illness I thought I had my ""alleged"" illness. After about 10 minutes of that he took a manila folder out with a big pile of papers in it. He took one of the papers out, circled 2 things on it, and handed it to me. He then said, for your first problem you need to see this doctor, and for your second problem you need to see this other doctor. Make appointments with them and they can help you. He left, I paid, and that was it. \r \r This place is a joke. These doctors don't know anything. They got their degrees to 'refer' 30-50 years ago and now all they do is charge your insurance and send you on your way. This doctor did not give do ANYTHING other than make me wait longer than I spoke to him and talk to me like I was stupid. If I thought this was the only doctor like this at LMG I would be complaining about just him, rather than the whole practice. I have heard nothing by the same type of story from anyone who has gone here regardless of what doctor they saw. These doctors do not give you advice, explain anything about symptoms, illnesses etc., do not test anyone for anything, do not prescribe anything, do not even pretend to care about what you're saying, and certainly don't care about anything other than getting paid.\r \r DON'T DO IT.\r more

Patient since 1994 3/30/2012

Dr. Kliger's patient. He is competent, has a gentle bedside manner. Somewhat rushed. He doesn't remind for regular checkups or watch immunization schedule. but will do them if I ask - which suits me fine. He doesn't push pills. When I have a specific issue he follows through. Staff are professional. I've never had a problem with paperwork, always turn referrals around quickly. One time I had to wait a while for test results and had to call. I wondered if they forgot. But that was only once in 18 years. more

As Long as you don't get sick 3/28/2009

Refusal to do test that specialist recommended. Quick to judge. Misstakes in system. Your files go in a system after you put them on paper they don't always go in correctly. Nasty treatment. Justify thier wrongs. Poor communication with in the whole office staff. I was fine until I got sick. They refused to do test that my insurace covers that were recomended by a specialist and an E.R. doctor. I had another doctor do them. I have a spondylitis. They push anti-depressives like they get a commission for it. Blaiming everything on mental illness and ignoring symtoms that could be related to something else. If you are healthy and just want check ups it's fine. But not if you need a doctor for a diagnosis. And don't upset any of them you will have the whole office treating you like poorly. Pros: easy to get an appointment Cons: Treatment is horrible and they team up on you. more
