My 71 year old uncle was going to try to drive to South Carolina to pick up a car, but on the way there he got into an accident, so there was no way that was going to happen. My husband and I decided to find a transporter so we got online and looked for a carrier.
We had a specific price range in mind, and we first went with another company, but we kept getting strung along. They wouldn't call back, and the dispatcher told us we had a driver, then we didn't, and then I called back and found he no longer worked with the company, and all this happened in the span of 5 days.
After that great snafu, we found Alan and Goldwing Auto Carriers. Talk about a life saver! Within 24 hours I had a driver. They were great. They worked over time and really put their heart and soul into it. They kept me updated every step of the way, even when there were tornadoes between here and there, and ice and snow here in Ohio. I couldn't have asked for better service, even with the delays, because I understand that you can't control the weather, but the matter of fact is that you couldn't have asked for better customer service people. They were really, really nice, and very patient. They weren't just after our money when I called, they would stop and chat with me, and now I feel like I've known them all my life. With everything that happened, we've been on a journey together.
I'll never have a problem with recommending them to anybody that I know. My husband is retired military and he has friends that are going to retire soon, and if any of those guys needed cars moved I will call Goldwing personally and get it set up. It's unfortunate that you have to go through all the shysters to get to a good company like this. I have nothing but good things to say about them.
