It has been 15 days and 320miles, and everything is fine, staff recommended external cooler, and after checking with the mec. at my work found this to be a good idea, Staff also installed a serpentine belt, cooler and belt put in at no charge for labor. Thank you very much. more

They are very honest and reliable, they never overcharge, they've even done some repairs and not charged me for the repairs. if they see something else on the car they will call me right away, sometimes repairs could take longer because they have to rely on parts delivery etc. but they do excellent jobs and their warranties are excellent. i will definitely recommend them to anyone. more

Well, they kind of take a really long time to fix the car. It takes a couple days for minor stuff sometimes. They are just never consistent, so I have a hard time taking my car there because I don't know how long it is going to take. Sometimes, they say one time, and it ends up being something else. The quality of the work is fine. more

They have done engine work, oil work, valve work, gasket changes, brake work, and even fixed a seat-belt issue I had. No problem is too big or too small for them to do. They are always fair and honest with our charges, and they never overcharge. They have even told us things weren't wrong with our cars that other mechanics said were. They show us how to do a simple job ourselves, turning away a couple hundred dollars they could have made, and they helped us out when we came back to them. They are really, really wonderful to work with. The customer service is great, and like I said, they are honest. It's an amazing shop. We have never had any problems with the work, and they always get us in and out. They're a wonderful team, and I couldn't be happier with them. more

I have been using Golden State Transmission for quite a while now because they are understanding and really do their best to find out what is wrong with your car and get to the bottom of it. They have worked on my water pumps, brakes, and radiator, among other things. They seem to know what they are doing and they stand behind work. For example, when I had a water pump that went out, they checked their records and replaced it free of charge. more
