Still has work to do but is moving on up! 7/6/2010

When I first started at Bella, I didn't like it either and thought that there was a lot of work to be done. I am still an aide at bella and I must say that it has come a long way. We have a good carring crew now and things are getting better. I personally think that I am a good aide and I really care about the residents there. I also feel that if all the people that do care and that are good leave because it is not perfect, then it will never get better. I have yet to see a perfect nursing home and one where all the aides are as carring as we would like. I think that every home has a bad egg, but in due time they too shall carry on else where. However, currently I believe that where we are right now is good and will only get better as long as people continue to put their heads together and strive for excellence. more

I worked for this facility for several months and I must say, it was not a very good experience. I worked as a Dietary Aide and saw several of the head cooks and other aides talk poorly about the residents, one in particular wanted to spit in the patients food. Several CNA's had extremely poor attitudes and I saw them treating residents poorly on a daily basis. If you are looking for care for a loved one, I strongly suggest looking else ware. more

    Medicare Home Health Care benefit - Medicare will pay for some "non-custodial" care if the patient is homebound and under the supervision of a doctor. The benefit covers skilled medical care delivered in the home by an approved Medicare agency.
