Jamie and Anahita are an absolutely exceptional team. They are professional doctors who are able to explain in detail the science behind what is happening with your body. They also make you feel right at home, as they genuinely care deeply for every person they work with. They are skilled in treating chronic or acute conditions, as well as delivering overall treatment that just absolutely zens you out. I very highly recommend this profound healing center! more

Golden girls! 6/6/2011

Sorry, I wrote golden "girls" to play with the title of a TV show that I loved because the two doctors who take care of you at Golden L are rare ladies, not just simply "girls"! They are REAL DOCTOS, with a lot of knowledge and skill. Besides, they are both gorgeous! I am thankful to these wonderful ladies for compassionate care, that aleviated all pains and problems I showed up with. As I volunteered there I saw how they treat everyone with the same care,compassion and skill. more

Anahiti Forati gave me exceptional treatment. The clinic feels soothing, the eye towards beauty is present everywhere. I've been visiting Jamie for about 2-months. Full transparency, my wife and I have been going for fertility treatment and we're not pregnant yet, but I don't think that's Jamie's fault. She's got a great energy, really listens and cares. It's a comfortable environment. And one day, as an afterthought I mentioned pain in my wrist due to carpal tunnel - something that had been bothering me for weeks and was getting worse. 30-minutes and one needle later it was cured... I came in seeking relief from knee pain and inflammation. The acupuncture treatment itself was painless & calming. Since the treatment I've noticed improvement in my knee pain and reduced swelling. Hurts so good 3/7/2011

Dr. Jamie needled the grapefruit-size knots on my neck Saturday. You know how your muscles have that nice soreness after a good strenuous workout? Well, the next day, they felt just like that – a “good” soreness, if you will. The kind where you know you’ve done something good for your body. My neck feels more supple and I can move it more. I’m also more relaxed now. Jamie, I’m coming back for more! Please ma’am, may I have another? more

Immediate relief 2/25/2011

I went to see Dr Jamie Hampton after being told my frozen shoulder would take up to 18 months to heal. In the first treatment, the pain was virtually gone. After the second treatment I had restored 90% of my range of motion and was sleeping well for the first time in 6 months. She is a caring and patient healer with extraordinary talent. I couldn't recommend her more. more

Dr. Jamie Hampton at the Golden Leaf in Berkeley is incredible. She is literally a genius. A gifted healer with a vast knowledge of Chinese Medicine. She truly cares about he patients and has a great sense of humour. I went to her with serious muscular-skeletal issues and chronic pain - over a series of months, my pain level is now manageable and I feel great. In the Bay area there are healing arts practitioners on every corner, but Dr. Jamie is one of a kind! Do not look anywhere else... more

Rejuvenation 1/29/2011

I am an extremely busy mom of two children with a thriving business and more to do than many. As a result my adrenal glands are taxed and to make matters worse I am peri menopausal. The stress wears me out and makes me grouchy so when I am in need of recovery I head to Dr, Anahita for a session of acupuncture and herbs. Nothing feels so self loving and delicious. The atmosphere at Golden Leaf is safe and comfortable and the care is kind and professional, the perfect place for a nap. more

Ruptured Disc 1/28/2011

I have had a ruptured disc for the past 1 1/2 yrs and have done therapy, cotisone shots and nothing seems to work. I finally decided to give acupuncture a try and this was my first visit and I must say Dr.Jamie is incredible. I felt a difference right away and will return to continue this treatment. I met with Dr. Anahita for acupuncture and found her to be very professional, knowledgeable, and skilled. The entire session went very smoothly (and painlessly!) and I will be returning for future sessions. I love Dr. Anahita and Dr. Jamie! Both of them are fantastic doctors who not only really know their stuff, but are so committed to their patients health and healing. I have used their services for my own wellness for over a year now and am always wow'ed by my experience. Caring and thorough 12/14/2010

Sr. Anahita Forati's approach is very thorough and comes from a place of love and care. This was my first time getting acupuncture and I was a tad bit nervous about the needles. After the first needle, all my nervousness was gone. Dr. Forati's touch is magical! I left the place walking on clouds! I will definitely return. more

I went there to have a treatment related to my scoliosis and back pain. Dr. Jamie did know this illness and what to do about it. She was very careful and did everything right to make me feel better. I'm going to try to go there more often now. Also, prices are pretty affordable. more
