Re: Dr. Rodriguez. In a recent letter form dedhas5, she discribes what sounded like a chain of bad events. My heart goes out to her and her son. What an ordeal. However, I feel debhas5 owes an apology. At the end of her letter, she urges patients to stay away from Dr. Rodriguez and his staff. What did the staff do? I am a patient of Dr. William Wong's, and have been helped, roomed, triaged and comforted my ALL the staff there. The staff of Drs. Wong , Golden,Pastor,Rodriguez and Baskin are to be commended. They have compassion, understanding, and are knowledgeable in what they do. The staff of Dr. Rodriguez is hard working and loyal to the patients. Again, you owe the staff an apology. Thank you, DanBear Pros: Courteous staff, seen quickly, good bedside manner, able to be"" double booked"". Dr. saw me with out a prior appt. Cons: Offices are too cold( temp wise) more

Pioneer Medical - Rosecrans, Bellflower, CA - Dr. A. Rodriguez 10/17/2007

My son broke both his wrists during football practice back in May of 2007. I had to take him to ""After-hours"" Care Center. We saw Dr. Rodriguez. Not only did he miss this wrist as being broken, (the left one - Rodriguez said it was ""Hyper-extended""), he x-rayed the right one and said that was not broken either, and also ""Hyperextended"". I only found out the bad news 2 months later when I finally got my son into a Orthopedic Surgeon/Sports Medicine Dr. Not only was it very obvious by the old x-ray, but upon getting new x-rays on both my sons wrists, it showed that both were broken. As the new Dr. was taking my son out to get the new x-rays, I pulled the old x-ray to put back in the sleeve, I found the radiologist report saying that my son's wrist was indeed broken. We were never notified of this. Come August, my son finally had to have surgery on both wrists and have screws put in them. Instead of getting the help my sonnned with these injuries at the end of the last school year, we are still working on this problem as of October 2007. \r On a side note, I took another son to see Dr. Rodriguez a few years ago, (also a football injury) and he said my son dislocated his thumb. He wanted my son in a splint. The splint he was put into was for Carpel Tunnel which left his whole thumb exposed and able to move about freely. Dumb me, not knowing better, paid the bill and went home with my son. It was the next day when the trainer at my son's school saw what my son was given, and that I was alerted that what he had was useless. If you are smart you will run as fast as you can, away from Dr. Rodriguez and his staff. Pros: Got my son in fast enough more
