Good to me 1/5/2009

We eat at Golden Gong fairly often. I've always been happy with the food. We get the family meals for two and it feeds my husband and myself as well as our two children (ages 4 and 2). We usually get it to go and have never had to wait too long. The staff has always been polite. more

OK Chinese Food 12/9/2008

Every time my family goes up to San Luis Obispo to visit my brother, we always end up going to Golden Gong. The food is okay, nothing special when comparing to other Chinese restaurants. There isnt too many cultural-based places to eat in San Luis Obispo, but I enjoy going here with my family & the food that bad, just okay. more

Great Food 6/27/2006

I have been eating Chinese food since my grandparents brought me to their favorite Chinese restaurant in San Francisco many years ago. Since my grand parents passed away, I have been searching for a Chinese restaurant, hoping to find that old time flavors, that may take me back to a journey of nostalgia. Well I am still looking. But a few days ago, my friend and I had lunch at the Golden Gong. The place have exceeded our expectations many times over. The food was delicious and prices were reasonable, and everyone waited on us were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be going back. and I will recommend the Golden Gong to anyone whose looking for a good Chinese restaurant in San Luis Obispo. more
