excellent cake! closest to authentic chinese cakes! 10/10/2008

This is the only store in columbus where I can find the cake that has the closest taste and texture of those I had in China before. Not too sweet, very fine and soft texture, deliciouse and light fresh milk cream! yes! The only disappointing thing is the design and the colors of the cake are a little bland and not very delightful. Since we always use color, smell and taste to judge the quality of the food, so I become picky here. :-) But the cake is really really great! more

Overhyped 6/26/2006

I'm a pretty picky eater when it comes to good cakes, and I'd have to say I was a bit disappointed by the strawberry cake I had from them. The cake's texture was excellent, nice and fluffy, but at the price it was purchased at I expected greater taste. PROS: texture, service CONS: taste more

Once you've tried one of their strawberry cakes you'll be hooked! Friends and family will ask you where you got it? The cakes are a little pricey but well worth it. They have a couple of locations. The only thing that's a bit complicated is that the staff speaks very little English. more

Delicious, light cake!! 6/6/2002

I used to know Golden Delights' delicious chiffon as "Chinese cake!" I've had their cake several times and everytime it is light, fluffy, fresh and tasty. It may be across town, but no time or gas is "wasted" on this trip! A larger size cake DOES cost more than the same size at Kroger, but this cake is very special and worth every extra penny. For everyone who has not tried it, believe me, you will like it!! Pros: Delicious, Good parking Cons: Kind of expensive, bad hrs of operation more
