Horrible food! Do not order from here. I ordered a shrimp basket because it said it had crab meat in the description. This is what I got... I received a dish of extremely bland food. The fish and veges came in this milky slimey sauce. There was no crab meat in it. Just small shrimp, some kind of fish, and pieces of calamari. The calamari was so over cooked it was like chewing on rubber. The shrimp basket was so stale my dogs wouldn't even eat it. Never ordering from there again! more

Great Vegetarian or Vegan Food! 7/12/2008

I have frequented this restaurant for the last three years. \r \r If you are a vegetarian or vegan it is a wonderful place to go! You should try the vegetarian hot and sour soup (if you are vegan you can get it without egg). It is delicious! I also recommend the vegetarian kung pao chicken. It is so good! They have an entire vegetarian menu - just ask for it. They are really fast at preparing the food and the quality is consistent. Also on their website is a coupon for $5 off if you want to try it out. The prices are very reasonable for the amount of food that you get.\r \r \r Pros: Good food, great value and good service. Cons: The only con is that it is in a strip mall - but hey we are in L.A. aren't we? more

Place is disaster. First, the restroom is very dirty, no soap and no paper.\r We ordered fried rice shrimp, beef chou mein and shrimp with vegetables.\r Food had no taste, no flavor. Bad, really bad...Bill was $32. The waiter was rude and ignorant. Awful, awful, awful...\r \r Panda Express looks is royal food compared to this place. more

We were rather disappointed with Golden China. The food was quite mediocre - nothing that you couldn't get at Panda Express. We got the cashew chicken and the beef with black bean sauce, which tasted far to similar. The cashew chicken had a strangely strong ginger flavor that overpowered the dish. The potstickers were ordered were pretty good, but didn't make up for the rest of the meal. Service was friendly but awfully slow and inattentive. The restaurant was fairly busy, so maybe we just ordered the wrong things. Pros: parking, friendly staff Cons: mediocre food, slow service more
