Steve K. was at my house within a couple of hours of me calling Gold Medal about my loss of hot water and leaking bathtub. I also received a call about 30 minutes prior to Steve arriving. Steve came to my door with his own carpet mat and boot covers which I appreciated since I just had new carpet installed (fyi - Sears delivery guys were there just prior and I had to give them plastic bags to cover their shoes). He assessed my issues and provided a written quote for the work to be performed to correct my issues. Gold Medal tends to be slightly higher priced which is why I gave 4 stars but I definitely feel like I get better service than I have from other local and regional plumbers I have tried in the past. I agreed to have the work completed so after I signed off on the work order, Steve worked on fixing my issues. The quality of work (from what I can tell) was good and Steve pointed out other deficient items I should have taken care of in the future to avoid additional problems and bigger plumbing headaches. He provided written quotes for all of the items I asked him to quote for me. Overall, the service he provided was very good and consistent with other Gold Medal plumbers I have used on various properties in the past. more

Mike was very caring and efficiant. He made sure he didnt leave until the job was done! He made me feel very comfortable and did everything he could to make me happy. I havent had service like this in a very long time. I give him an AAAAA+++++++!!!! Would recommend highly. more
