Our experience with Gohlke Pools was a positive one from start to finish. They had excellent customer service. We worked with the same person from the design stage through construction. Everything went very smoothly and any questions or concerns we had during the building process were handled quickly and satisfactorily. Gohlke Pools has continued to provide good customer service after the building of our pool. We are very happy with our pool and happy with our decision to have Gohlke Pools build it. We are very pleased with the quality of the pool we had built compared to the cost and would recommend Gohlke Pools to anyone wanting to have a pool built. more

Most of the time I take care of my pool myself. However, when I can't get it right or when I am out of town I don't need to look any further than Gohlke Pools for help. From the time we built our pool a few years ago until now we have had nothing but great experience from the initial design, to the quality of our construction, to the service that we have had on the pool, to the friendly knowledgeable people in their store. We were in the market a couple of years ago for a pool for our unique backyard. We entered Gohlke Pools late on a Saturday night and they were right there showing us all of the options. Then a day or two later they came out to our house and measured and showed us a couple of designs. After we had made our decision to go with Gohlke they came to our house again and painted the pool on the ground to show us what it would look like. During the construction process we were called daily, it seemed like, and informed of the status and what steps would be next. In a little over 6 weeks we had a beautiful backyard retreat that made our neighbors jealous. We have even had to use their service department a time or two and have had nothing but great experience using them. They scheduled up our repair right away and came when they said they would. The service man was very knowledgeable and he was very clean-cut. Matt Gohlke even offers a free CPR training and other classes that help everyday people understand and operate their pools, that is how involved within the community these people are tops in my book. My wife and I (and our firends and family) love our Gohlke pool! They did quality work and stood by it. Always showed up when they said they would. When we went to fill the pool, our well water had silt in it. Even though they didn't cause it, Gohlke came out mulitple times to add clarifier and vacuum the pool until the water was crystal clear! I could not recommend any organization more highly! Pros: Great design, quality work, good price Cons: None more

I would recommend you think twice before doing business with Gohlke Pools. They lead you to believe that they are a customer service friendly and a company who cares but when you call with concerns they ignore you. We have been raising concerns regarding the unacceptable quality workmanship with the tile and coping since the work was finished. Matt Gohlke has asked what will it take to make you happy and when you tell him, replace the damaged tiles, grout in between the pool tiles, replace coping that has been chipped beyond acceptable standards, he ignores you and continues with the building process. Matt finally agreed to come out to the house and he feels that the work meets industry standards. Matt also added, once there is water in the pool you're not going to be looking around picking out every little thing, you?ll be swimming. You?re at a serious disadvantage with Gohlke Pools because you pay for the pool prior to it being completed so they don?t have any incentive to do a good job and make you happy. They also caused significant collateral damage to the pool accessories, the aggregate pool deck and our adjoining Oklahoma Flagstone arbor deck. I watched the construction superintendent,, Nathan Caldwell, pour acid directly on to the aggregate pool deck and during the post plaster acid wash, they poured acid directly on the 19x19 flagstone arbor deck and power washed it with a John Deere 3800 psi power washer. They ruined the aggregate pool deck and not only did they burn/discolor the flagstone but the also blew out 40% of the mortar joints. Don't let Matt Gohlke also ruin your family's dream of having a nice looking "award winning" pool. If you think for one second you want to do business with Gohlke Pools, do yourself a favor and look at our pool first.
