Good for a cheap fix. 4/5/2008

We went there a little early. There were people, but the sushi bar was empty, so we got good service. The conveyor belt was empty except for some sample items. I guess they only use the belt during lunch hour. The sushi was good. The portions are reasonably large, and the prices are competitive with other sushi bars nearby. We didn't have any sushi, just rolls. However, when we were watching the sushi chef prepare other sushi orders, he cut BIG slices of fish. The piece of fish was twice as big as the rice! Seems like a good place for sashimi, but that's not my thing. I prefer the rolls. Pros: Reasonably large portions, unlimited ginger. Cons: Service is a little slow more

OMG, great sushi for low low price!! 11/27/2007

We went there as a fluke today because my husband had to conduct some business in Pasadena. We live in Westwood area and generally don't go to Pasadena so much. The prices at Go go Sushi were low, $2 -$3 sushi as well as more expensive rolls and other items. The nigiri sushi slices were thick and very fresh. I can manage lower quality toro tuna but can't stomach lower quality salmon, yellowtail, mackeral, or other raw fishes. Here I was able to eat all of the nigiri and loved it. Pros: Great price, great food more

Great Sushi for Low Price 2/14/2007

Located in a mini-mall, it's probably not the best 1st date restaurant. But for a local hang out they have GREAT sushi at a reasonable price....the portions are BIG, too! Friendly, casual environment. Try it!! Pros: Low Cost Cons: Not romantic, No private booths more

Best sushi rolls! 8/15/2006

You can pick your own dishes from the conveyor belt as it passes right in front of you or order one of the specialty rolls from the sushi chef. There's a wide selection of colorful and unique rolls. I love the names for the rolls, but I love the taste and price even more! Pros: Inexpensive, great food, Pasadena's best kept secret more

Best Sushi I've Had in LA 8/8/2006

What a find this place was! We originally tried to go to a place next door, but they were closed, so we decided to check out this little sushi restaurant. I was initially skeptical over the $2 sushi, but decided to give it a try. We ordered a few of the $2 rolls and a specialty roll. The first taste of the Philly roll was amazing! The rest did not disappoint either. Our specialty roll was the Sunset roll, which had scallops, crab and cucumber inside with avacado and Unagi on the outside. Wow. It was a great combination. The rest of their creations looked just as tasty. Pros: Food, Parking, Simplicity Cons: Will be crowded once word gets out. more

High Quality at Low Price 7/14/2005

There has been many improvements since the opening in March 2004, both in menu and service. All sushi are only $2.00 per order (except premium). There are other great lunch specials from $4.75 until 4 pm. The lunch combo box is a great value. Definitely worth trying! Best value in town. Pros: Inexpensive, Good Food more
