Goehrig's Bakery

I am from Bergenfield NJ and moved to KY I was looking online for a NJ bakery who delivered, because KY isnt that good... So I found Goehrig's Bakery in Jersey City. Called and ordered cookies, brownies, and crumb cake, he said we should do over night mail but it would cost extra I said no problem.. 4 days went by and nothing, when I called they said they were mailed. The next day the came, when I opened the box I was in shock!!!!!!! The cookies were all crumbs, brownies were twisted and like hockey pucks, and the crumb cake was as hard as a rock, horrible. All went to the garbage. When I called alls they said was sorry about that. NOTHING ELSE.....So horrible such bad business....I would tell whoever want to buy baked good to stay far away from this place.... more

Worst experience ever! I ordered a Birthday cake to be delivered 5 days in advance online only to be told on the day of delivery they couldnt find my order!! They gave me the run around and I had no choice but to change the initial order to what they had available which was Red velvet cake.. it RUINED the birthday, cake looked messy from the start, not clean top, tasted salty.. I called to complain only to be told ""Well its over a day and you didnt call early"" No decency when speaking on the phone, no customer service. I was expecting so much more, BUYER BEWARE! more

Joseph can make anything in cake. He has made me three cakes so far and they have all exceeded my expectations. He has a creative genius that you rarely find. He made me a baby shower dress that my co-workers and friends have still not stopped talking about. 2 MONTHS LATER! I had to come online and recommend the bakery to everyone. They also deliver to NY which was a big plus to get these fabulous cakes to my office in midtown. I always get an assortment of pastry and cookies to go with the cake, and the crowd goes wild! I <3 Goehrig's! Pros: Clean, professional, creative, fresh, and honest. more
