My youngest son was bit 11 times over the course of several months. 3 of those bites went unnoticed and were not documented. I talked to the owner, the director, and the teachers. While the bites became less frequent, the situation never resolved. There was also a high turn over of staff, which my older son had a lot of trouble with. My older son is also headed to preschool so we ultimately decided it was best for us to withdrawal. We put our 30 day notice of withdrawal in and only a couple of days after that my youngest was bit again and again it was not witnessed or documented. At this time I asked to be let out of the contract immediately. The owner ignored/avoided me for over a week, never once reaching out. I made a complaint to the state and corporate offices and still did not hear from the owner. At this time we decided to remove our kids no matter the cost as they were clearly not safe. It wasn't until two weeks later and 12 days after tuition is typically due that we were charged, again with absolutely no communication to me by the owners. I'm incredibly disappointed in the way this situation was handled. There was a lack of professionalism and common decency. All of our favorite teachers have left and those that I have stayed in contact with don't have anything good to say about the management here, which says a lot. Stay far away from this school. Their license has been on probation, which was recently extended. They've had many complaints over the years, all of which can be found on the Colorado Shines website.
