Goddard School

The Goddard School is a very warm, loving and caring environment. Our child has had very positive experiences at this daycare. The teachers are amazing and wonderful! They truly have your child's best interest at heart. I would recommend this school to anyone! more

We have been sending our kids to this Goddard almost since they opened. My daughter attended from the time she was 2 1/2 until she went to kindergarten. She was very shy and withdrawn before attending school. She absolutely blossomed under the patient and kind tutelage of the Goddard teachers. Now we send my son. I only wish we could afford to send him more days a week, but I have no other complaints. The staff and teachers are wonderful. The facility is clean and organized. I will be so sad when my youngest goes to kindergarten and we wont be at Goddard anymore because I really feel like they are a part of our family. As far as education, my daughter attends a charter school that moves at a fast pace and she was more than prepared. I am amazed at my son's progress with letters and writing (even before entering the pre K classroom). We started to send our son there when he was 3 1/2. He had been in a home care setting with not a lot of structure. I honestly thought there is no way they will be able to get my son to adapt well to a more educational based setting - boy was I wrong! His teachers were so patient and kind but firm. They worked with me on his behavior, making recommendations of things I could also do at home, daily reports and within six short months, a totally changed boy! He will finish up there in July before moving on to Kinder and he could not be more ready!! It's a bit costly but for me worth every penny we have spent and I wish I would have moved him a LOT sooner. You will not be disappointed with this facility! more

My daughter has been at The Goddard on Warner and Lindsay for almost a year. I was shocked to read the prior posting about the quality of the school. From the very first day, the teachers have been nothing but wonderful to her. She is greeted with a smile, and the teachers are always available to help if she is having a tough drop off. If she had a tough day, either the teacher, Director, Asst. Director or Owner are available to walk us through her day, and ease our minds with suggestions or reassurance. In a preschool, we expect to see turnover...it is the nature of the industry. However, we have seen very few changes, independent of teacher promotions, which shows that the staff work hard, and are rewarded for achievements. The Director, Asst. Director and Owner are approachable, compassionate, and always there to attend to the needs of the families and children. I must admit I was nervous about transitioning my 2 yr old daughter from home to school. However, once I stepped into Goddard, all of my doubts were erased and I was confident that this was the right place for her. Everyone has been overwhelmingly friendly and understanding of the transitions that take place from home to school. My daughter has certainly grown from her experience at Goddard. Good Quality school for your toddlers, unfortunately not everyone can afford the cost. Nice teacher, friendly staff. Not too much play time, but great curriculum more

My daughter has been attending the Goddard School on Warner Road for three months now. We are very impressed with the cleanliness of the school and the low staff to child ratios. I was amazed that she learned so much sign language so quickly, and it has really helped mitigate some of the typical young toddler frustration when she can tell us "more", "please", and "all done", and we understand her. \r \r More importantly than anything else, she loves going to school and runs right into the arms of her teachers. It is such a relief when your child has a positive association when you say "time to go to school", and when they happily wave goodbye to you each morning. I really thought she would have had a much harder time adjusting considering she had never been in preschool before we enrolled her. I would highly recommend this school. more
