We appreciate all feedback from our Host Families. In fact, we open a direct line of communication for all our customers and partners to provide feedback on our customer service by emailing feedback at goaupair dot com. As an agency, we strive to do everything we can to make the Au Pair program a positive experience for both Au Pairs and Host Families. Our Local Area Representatives and dedicated Personal Coordinators for each Host Family make our agency uniquely personal. In fact, our agency was recently praised by Au Pair Clearing House for our customer service, “Host families continue to cite how friendly and helpful staff are at goAUPAIR.”
As an Agency, one of our greatest strengths is our flexibility. goAUPAIR is the only Au Pair agency in the industry to offer flexible arrival dates for Host Families. This means we don’t force families into a predetermined arrival date; rather we try to work with each family on an individual basis to meet their unique needs. One way we are able to allow flexible arrivals is through our video training. The training takes place in the Au Pair's country via a 32 hour screening of a DVD followed by a test that ensures all Au Pairs arrive in the U.S. pass the screening process. We also offer an additional optional, 3-day live training session in addition the required 32 hour training and test, which includes CPR and safety certification training.
With over 300 available Au Pairs, goAUPAIR has one of the largest Au Pair candidate pools in the industry. All of our Au Pair candidates are carefully screened. At the time of this posting, 96% of our available Au Pairs held a driver’s license, 86% of those Au Pairs have been driving for over 2 years. 59% of our available Au Pairs have experience with children under the age of 2 and combined have over 300,000 hours of documented experience with this age group. 70% of our available Au Pairs have more than one kind of child care experience.
We truly desire an enjoyable cultural experience for both our Au Pairs and Host Families, and encourage each to contact us with any concerns they may have. Originating as a nanny business, goAUPAIR was one of the original agencies designated by the Department of State in 1989 to facilitate the Au Pair Program. Since then goAUPAIR has joined various international youth exchange organizations including the World Youth Student & Educational (WYSE) Travel Confederation, the Alliance for International Educational and Cultural Exchange. We are also members of the International Au Pair Association (IAPA) and our managing director is in her third year as part of the board of directors. Through the Au Pair program and our membership with these organizations, goAUPAIR has added a cultural exchange focus to its existing strong foundation as a child care company.
