I had a massage and a pedicure at Gloss salon a month ago and loved it. Then yesterday I scheduled a haircut because my hair dresser at some other place was unavailable. My haircut took over an hour and it was horrible. The girl that cut my hair was nice and the rest of the staff was very friendly but my hair was so horrible that I cried when I came home. I wanted longer in the front, shorter in back, stacked, and texturized on top to get a lot of volume but I got basically a shorter layer and longer layer that looks funny, bulky same length "layers" that created no volume, longer in back and shorter in the front (opposite of what I asked for), and a piece hacked off on my right side that's very noticeable. It's that horrible even after I made like 10 requests to fix here and there and asked her to texturize here and point out places that are uneven. In the end, I didn't go there to make friends with nice people, I went there to get a haircut so I can feel better and look better, not to look worse. I won't go back to a place that'll hire just anybody. If someone isn't confident in the type of haircut that a customer wants then they should not attempt without help. If I wanted someone to practice on me I would go to the hair school or super cuts.
