I have been driving from Indianapolis to Muncie about every 6 weeks for many years, and even in a time when gas is about $4 per gallon, (and even at higher prices) it is still a great investment. Why? Quite simply, the attention to detail, the artistic flair, the knowledge, the skill, and the sensitivity to the needs of her client makes this stylist stand head and shoulders (bad pun) above the rest.
I had not had a haircut in a few years before I started going to The Glitterati Salon. My hair was getting so long and shabby, I was afraid my friends would tackle me and drag me off to a talk show such as Jenny Jones for one of those famous interventions/haircuts. I am so glad I decided to take matters into my own hands and went to The Glitterati instead.
It seems that so many stylists will glaze over when you tell them what you want. Marga is the true exception. I told her the basics on what I wanted: short,but not too short, and manageable for a busy lifestyle. After checking my hair texture, etc, she cut my hair so well, I can't imagine ever going anywhere else. Years after graduating from Ball State Univ (Muncie) and even after moving, I continue to make the journey to her salon.
Not only is her skill with scissors unparalleled, she is an expert colorist. She also is very good with other treatments such as perms.
The Glitterati is also listed in some of the leading trade publications. Marga's work is well recognized in her trade and her salon is listead as one of the best in Indiana.
