Having noticed a chip turned crack not until it was well over 8 inches, I was worried I would have to replace the windshield. But after calling multiple places who didn't really seem to care and told me I would have to replace.The guy at Glass Doctor and was genuine, and told me to come by and he could take a look at it. He fixed my windshield in around 30 minutes (no replacement) and was wonderful overall. I recommend them to everyone! more

It took an extra day to get the glass and I had to take the day off work to bum around the house - it could've been worse. The nest day, they called me to come get my car. They did a fine job. They even got the few little bits of glass I was going to vacuum later. So - if you live near Glenview and need any glass replaced, you can do worse than getting the work done at Glass Doctors. more

My wife found this place after an emergency window breaking. The crew was awesome and were able to see us the next morning. When I walked in with a slightly fussy baby, he put a rush on the replacement and I was out the door again in under a half hour. They even helped me clear out the glass fragments I had missed on the first cleaning. Couldn't recommend this place more Pros: null Cons: null more

5 Stars Well Earned 2/14/2012

I contacted the Glass Doctor based on a reference from a friend. Sure enough, they showed up on time, did the job for 1/2 of the other quoted prices and used quality materials (3/8 inch glass etc). I was quoted 17 working days, but they promised 5 days and missed it by one day...but showed up on time and did the installation quickly. Most importantly, he was neat in his work habits and his appearance. I would rate him as I did...5 stars!! more

Perfect Service 2/1/2012

I needed to get a few custom sizes of glass and mirror cut for the top of a vanity. After calling around several local glass companies, this place gave me a quote that was half the cost of others and then turned the order around in just a few hours. Plus, the customer service at this place was stellar. The staff was professional and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend them. more

Glass doctor is great!! They fixed the windshield on my truck and I was on my way in no time I would highly recommend these guys they are very reliable and friendly! My "new to me" car immediately had a cracked windshield. Based on their positive internet reviews and the referral by my dealer, I called The Glass Dr of N Shore. The person I spoke to on the phone was more than helpful in quoting me prices and recommending how to deal with insurance. This business truly shined when it came to my windshield appointment. We settled on delaying my appointment until 2. I lost track of time, and I didn't make it to our agreed location until 2:30. I was so embarrassed and felt awful for wasting his time. I offered him a cash tip and cold drinks, but he refused them all. Not only did he do a great and fast job on my windshield, he didn't treat me like the jerk I was for being late. I was impressed with both his work and his customer service, and I would recommend them to anyone needing glass work. more
