No option for zero stars. These people took a $1,250 deposit (half of job up front) and then proceeded to use SCRAP METAL to make my burglar bars. Holes drilled all over the place, no security screws, not securely anchored to window opening, 6 foot long hollow aluminum square tubes - flexible 4 inches any way, I could rip them off with my bare hands - and I'm not a big person. No cross point reinforcements, not vertical to the naked eye, NOTHING DONE AS PROMISED - and it took them 4 MONTHS 3 DAYS before I lost patience. Also, they special ordered 36 X 50 new windows - when 36 X 48 would have done fine - 2 inches of concrete slab & mortar would have cut price in half. When I told them burglar bars were scrap metal - they did not deny it. I got the 4 special ordered windows, and a $300 refund-in-full. (check written that way by Mr. Abdelhaq.) My only other option was small claims court, and I have no time for that, so I had to accept special ordered windows and $300 refund. Owner of Glass City USA is Taliq Abdelhaq - and the quality of his work is pitiful. Many other problems too numerous to list. Haq's promises are worthless. This brought my house project to a stand still for 4 MONTHS. Run away from this place. Contract signed 5/26/2011 - $300 refund out of $1,250 received 8/31/2011. I have since found out that their local reputation is very poor, but nobody bothered to take the time to rate them. more

I contracted with the owner Hawk to do a project. I paid in advance. He came and completed 75% of the job. Hawk told me he would be back the next day to clean up and complete. He did pick up his tools but after 8 weeks and many calls I still can not get him to complete the project. I call many times if I ever talked to him he would give me a day it would be done by but it never was completed.I am still trying to contact him! more
