Love Glamour!! Always pleased with my hair when I leave! I also started getting my waxing done there as well and it's amazing. All the stylists are so nice a really make you feel important. The atmosphere is a lot of fun. They also have a boutique I can get my shopping done in, it's perfect! more

I have been coming to Glamour for years and I love them! The stylists are so friendly and make you feel right at home! I love treating myself every six weeks to a visit with my stylist not only to pamper myself but to catch up with all of the stylists! They truly are the best and I would recommend this salon to everyone! Their new location downtown is exquisite and has so much to offer along with their boutique downstairs! more

Hands down, the finest and most gorgeous salon in the Salem area, let alone downtown. The shopping is great, affordable and a fun experience, and the stylists and staff are sweet, outgoing and helpful. A perfect girls trip! Pros: Gorgeous, fun atmosphere Cons: We are too awesome! wink wink more

Alissa has been my hair girl for about 8 years and I love her! Every time she does my hair whether it is a cut, color, or style - I walk out of the salon completely satisfied. She has a great personality and really listens to what I want my hair to look like, as well as brings great suggestions for a new look! I trust that she will always make me look good and with the compliments I receive when I leave - that just confirms it! I absolutely recommend her to all my friends! I think there are ladies that are fussier than others about the way their hair looks when they walk out of a salon. I believe the end results are only as good as you communicate to your stylist before they start, and during the process to achieve the style/look you expect. Alissa Hilton has been cutting and weaving my hair since 2004. I have no complaints about the way Alissa does my hair. In fact . . . since I've been going to Alissa every where I go I have ladies constantly stopping me telling me they LOVE my hair. 2010 the compliments are still coming my way. I couldn't have a better stylist! I've been so happy since I started going to Alissa Hilton at Glamour Salon in South Salem. She always does such a wonderful job on my weaves, cuts, and waxing my eyebrows. Anytime I can't decide what to have done, we discuss it together and it turns out great. Great Place to get the perfect cut and style. 3/17/2010

I have been to Glamour Salon twice now and have an appointment this week. My experience with my stylist Margaret Mueller have been great! She is very nice, really cares about my needs and does a great job cutting, coloring and styling my hair. She is a perfectionist, she takes her time cutting my hair and makes sure that I am happy with the results. She asks questions about what I want and also makes suggestions on what she thinks would work for me. I am from out of town, but the hour drive is worth it, the results are wonderful. Margaret does GREAT color!! 3/17/2010

I have been going to Margaret for several months now & not only is she a good friend, I'm so glad I started going to her for my hair. She plays around with it, but would never make me look bad & everything she's done, I've loved! I get compliments on my color ALL the time. The only downside is that I live in North Plains so it does take about 45 min. to get there; but that's my choice & so worth it! I highly recommend Margaret, she won't do you wrong! Brittney is fabulous! 2/6/2010

I had Brittney color my hair and give me a new hairstyle. She listened to exactly what I wanted, told me what she was doing before she did and I ended up having a great new 'do. I would enthusiastically recommend Brittney to anyone!\r \r This salon is in a very easy to get to location and I thought it was just adorable inside. While Brittney was my stylist, the other stylist were also very friendly to me and it seems that all the stylists have a great rapport with each other. One of the very best facials I've ever had 12/27/2009

Gale gave me an amazing facial. I have had expensive facials all over the country at elite spas and was excited to find someone who has the superb knowledge, expertise and product that Gale does. Yet Gale's prices are extremely reasonable. I walked out with beautiful glowing skin and the blemishes I had gone in with were completely cleared up in a couple days thanks to her treatment. I have frequently had breakouts after an intensive facial, but this was not the case with Gale's facial. I have also been using the products from Gale and have fallen in love with YonKa. My skin looks more youthful and I have not had the problems I normally face with my skin. I also took My 3 1/2 year old son to Glamour Salon for a hair cut and they did a fantastic job. He loved the salon treatment and I got comments on how cute his hair looked for the next month! Glamour Salon is a real treasure in Salem. Mel is a miracle worker 11/13/2009

Mel is a genius at color! She gets down to the roots and looks like it actually grows out of my head that color! It is never brassy or ashy, but a perfect golden honey. Her cuts are always a calculated balance between professionally appropriate and trendy and fun. She is always sweet, fun, and genuinely cares about her clients and her craft. Gale does an outstanding job! She is extremely prepared and thoroughly understands facial techniques and her product line (Yonka of Paris). Her demeanor was relaxing from the moment I arrived and she kept me informed of the procedures she would be using as the session progressed. This was a stress breaking experience. Lindsey is a true Artist of styling and color 11/13/2009

Lindsey knows hair. Since the mid 90s, I have always wanted a lighter color to blend with my ever graying hair color.. I told Lindsey what I thought I wanted. and she made it happen even better than my vision. My hair is vibrant and makes me feel brighter and happier, if that is possible.
