Gladstone Animal Clinic

Gladstone Animal Clinic is the best place to take your pets. I have two cats and three dogs, and couldn't imagine taking them anywhere else. The doctors don't push you out the door like other places, and they are very appreciative of your business. They know how to be professional, yet friendly. It's almost like a big family. The staff seems to be best friends with one another, and of course, with your pet. Always affordable, always worth the money. Love this place. Thanks for taking care of my kids. more

Gladstone Animal Clinic has some good doctors but if you choose to stay with this vet be sure to invest in pet insurance or some kind of a pet care program. Or always keep an emergency fund set aside for your pets. I have two cats and two dogs and stuck with Gladstone for at least 10 years as a loyal, paying customer. I bought all of my senior dogs medication refills there also, even though I knew I could order them online for less money. But when my 11 year old dog had an HGE episode, hemorrhagic gastroenteritis, Gladstone Animal Clinic refused to help her when I called them and told them I would not be able to immediately pay the bill at the time of services due to having already paid several hundred dollars to the Animal Emergency Clinic only a few hours earlier that same morning. Our conversation occurred at around 8:00am and my dog died at around 10:30am. If you can't set up some kind of an emergency backup plan for times like this then wait until AFTER they have done their work on your pet, and then tell them you can't pay at that time. Whatever you do, DO NOT call ahead and be honest with them upfront. Because if it is truly an emergency your pet will suffer and possibly die. First let me say i have never felt the need to leave a review on any thing like this Bad or good, So this is the first time! But I ran across this opportunity while looking for a phone number, And would like say that Dr. Richards has been one of the nicest and honest men i have ever met! and handles my dog like a baby. My dog is a labradoodle with inner ear issues, and is on going. Gladestone animal clinic has been great to me and my dog, And the price has always been more then fair, Larry Richards is a GREAT Vet, and i would recommend anyway to take their pets to see him! Don't think twice....And yes, the staff has always been great to us too! more

DR, Richards is a very kind doctor. We take both our cats and dogs to him. He is a wonderful vet. he is very knowagable and extremely kind. He answesrs all your questions.My husband has been using Gladstone Animal Clinic for way over 35 years and God willing we will be using them for 35 more. We have 6 cats and 3(almost 4) as we are getting a Doberman puppy in about 6 weeks and cannot imagine going to any other Vet Clinic.We love evryone that works there. more

I adopted my dog and the shelter sent her to the Gladstone Animal Clinic to get spayed. A few days later, I had to take her back because she ripped out some of the staples. The vet was nice to me, but he manhandled my dog. I didn't like how rough he was with her, she's trained (not by me) and will let you roll her over if you're calm. I tried explaining this, but he just flipped her over, causing her to scramble. I will not go back to this clinic, which is a shame, because the rest of its staff is very nice and helpful. more

I brought a friends dog to the clinic and they were very happy. The dog seemed to like going to the clinic for boarding and the vet and vet techs were great. I would recommend this clinic. more

The clinic is always friendly and glad to see your pet. They usually remember the animal and greet them as come in the door.\r My dog goes in and puts his paws on the check in counter and says "hi" to the staff.\r This animal clinic is worth checking out. They also have a wonderful boarding service and can make accommodations for special needs that your animal may have. more

This is a very accomodating clinic. I had to suddenly board my dog and while away had to extend the visit by a couple of days and everything went smoothly. They were very careful and showed great concern for my dog. When I called to check on my dog, I was always transferred to someone that was actually working with my dog. Great Place!! more

This is a great place to take your pet if it is sick or is having problems. They are pretty pricey when it comes to shots and medicine. You have to pay $35 just to see the doctor and that does not include the shots or medicine. The staff is worth it. Wouldn't take my pet anywhere else. more
