PLEASE NOTE: If I don't receive my order (paid in full and ordered about 1 month ago) by June 3rd, this issue will be escalated to a higher authority (i.e. BBusiness Bureau, local authorities, etc.)
I cannot even begin to express my level of disgust with Giovanni and Sons (310). I placed an order (paid in full) the w/o May 4th and it is June 2nd and I still have yet to receive. The original order was received the w/o May 11th. I was very disappointed because the product was sub-par (tangled, shedding, and 2 different distinct colors and textures (one was brown and the other looked as though it had been dyed black.) I immediately phoned to voice my concern and to inform them I’d be sending the product back for an exchange. I Fedex’d (at my cost) the product back via 3 day mail with a detailed letter voicing my concern and specific shipping instructions on May 21st; however, they didn’t receive until May 27th due to the Memorial Day holiday. I phoned on the 27th and they agreed the product was of sub-par quality and they would send a new batch out via 2-day on May 28th. I called back on June 1st to retrieve a tracking number. After receiving the tracking number, I saw on the UPS website, the package was delivered @ 10:23 am and signed for by “Pancho.” I don’t know a “Pancho” and I still had not received the package. I called Giovanni and Son back to confirm the shipment and the address. They shipped it to “151 Eldridge Suite 100” instead of “1510 Eldridge Suite 108.” When questioned, the associate replied, “that was the address she had on file for me.” I corrected her and let her know that was not so and there were specific shipping instructions in the letter sent back with the package. Then, she said she needed to speak with her manager. Instead of Giovanni and Son calling me back, UPS phoned. They confirmed that Giovanni and Son had shipped the package under the wrong address and UPS had to correct the incorrect address in order to make the package deliverable but they never corrected the incorrect suite #. UPS stated they had been trying to get a hold of the occupants at “1510 Eldridge Suite 100” but their number was disconnected and they would have to launch and investigation which could last anywhere between 1-8 business days. I Googled the address the package was delivered to and called to speak with the manager. The manager said he sent the package back because he knew it wasn’t for him. Called Giovanni and Son and spoke with Nick (the manager) and he said he would send the new product out today via next-day COD. I informed him the merchandise was already paid in full about 1 month ago and he responded with, “he was not aware of this and he’d have to check into this and get back with me.” Nick called back about 20 mins later and confirmed he would send a new package out today (June 1st) via Next-day *(no COD) in accordance with the detailed shipping instructions in the letter. Called Giovanni and Sons back today (June 2nd) and the girl that answered the phone said she showed no shipments in the system for me sent out yesterday. Requested to speak with Nick and was informed, “He’s in the bathroom.” What the…? Nick called me back and stated, “his associate sent the package out to the wrong address (again!) and he’d personally send the package out himself.” So, today is June 2nd and I have still yet to receive from Giovanni and Son. As per my conversation with Nick, if my package isn’t here by tomorrow (June 3rd) I will be requesting a refund and I will be escalating this issue to a higher authority (i.e. The BBusiness Bureau, the local authorities, etc.)
Pros: ABSOLUTELY NONE!
Cons: EVERYTHING!
