Honest and Excellent! 6/14/2010

Gilmore's Auto Service has been caring for our cars since we moved here 2 years ago from LA. Since my father is a mechanic and did the majority of the work on our cars, finding someone who was reliable and trustworthy was a concern. A friend recommended Gilmore's and we have been taking our cars there ever since. Our cars, a '92 Thunderbird and an '03 Honda Pilot have had major and minor repairs...everything from a timing belt and water pump to an oil change. Whatever the problem, Phil and his team always bend over backwards to accommodate our schedule. They are very up front about the expense. They truly care about people and work hard to do the job right, the first time. The work they do is excellent. If you are looking for a mechanic I would highly recommend Gilmore's. Pros: A mechanic with integrity and excellent service. Cons: Can't think of any. more

Gilmores is the Best! 6/7/2010

They guys at Gilmores do a great job. I have all my automotive work done there. I once had an intermittent problem with one of my vehicles. - Very hard to figure what was going on. Gilmores was able to determine what it was and fix the problem. Pros: Excellent work - Very thorough. more

Best Repair Shop I Know!! 6/5/2010

I have had all my cars worked on by Gilmores Auto for longer than I can remember. Phil and his guys are always efficient and eager to get your car back in shape. These guys have been in the area forever and will treat you right. Won't waste your time and money w/ unnecessary work. They stay up-to-date w/ technology and are a first rate shop! Great Service Great Mechanics 6/5/2010

Gilmore's Auto is the only place I will take my car! They do the work, they let you know what's wrong with your car but they aren't pushy like other shops. Looking for a second opinion? Take it to Gilmore's. Looking for an honest mechanic? Take it to Gilmore's. Pros: Always honest, Always reliable Cons: Can't think of any more

Honest and Reliable 6/5/2010

I always take my car to Gilmore's Auto Service because I trust the staff. They're great guys and never try to sell me on anything I don't need. They tell me what needs to be fixed, but never pressure me into any sales. I love it that they have a shuttle service if I can't get a ride. I highly recommend Gilmore's! Pros: Honest, Reliable service. They don't try to upsell. more

They have taken good care of our vehicles for 30+ years. 3/15/2010

We are longtime customers of Gilmore's Auto Service. They have taken care of our cars for about 30 years, both my wife's cars and mine as well as our son's and daughter's cars. They are honest, reputable, and have always taken good care of our vehicles. They are good, courteous people, and have gone out of their way to be helpful. I have been happy with all of the work that Gilmore's has done for us over the years. They are like family. more

Nice, qualified mechanics that are very good at diagnostics. 3/5/2010

Gilmore's Auto Service is one of the few auto services I have found that is really good at diagnostics. They saved one of my cars from death and figured out the problem when no one else could fix it. I got 10 extra years out of that car, which lasted a total of 20 years, because of Gilmore's Auto Service. I have been using Gilmore's for over 10 years now and they have worked on 3 different cars for me. They are honest and straightforward...I trust them implicitly. They do what they say and they know what they are doing. If I bring the car in and nothing is wrong, they do not charge me for it. Most auto shops do not have people that are as qualified as the mechanics at Gilmore's in terms of diagnosing what is wrong with your car. For example, when I had a leak in the condenser, which is part of the radiator, other places I went to just kept refilling the fluid. Gilmore's actually found the leak and solved the problem. At Gilmore's, you can actually talk to the person who is working on your car. You get it from the horse's mouth. They are head and shoulders above any other auto service shop I have used. more

Very cooperative, honest, and they care about their customers. 3/1/2010

I am a longtime customer of Gilmore's Auto Service. They were recommended to me more than 30 years ago when I was having trouble with my car and was looking for a good auto mechanic. I had been going to different auto shops and was looking for a permanent one when some young men I knew referred me to Gilmore's. I feel very blessed to have found Gilmore's. It has been a good relationship over the years because they have been very cooperative. They try to work me in to their schedule if I have an emergency or something that I need done that day. They also are upfront when they cannot fit me in right away, which I respect. They have done a variety of work for me on multiple cars. I had a Nissan that they kept going for several years...it was 20 years old when I finally donated it. Most recently, when the battery in my daughter's car was dead, Phil came out to the house to take care of it so that I did not have to get it towed in. I very much appreciated him helping me out in this particular situation. He really does what he can for his customers. I would definitely recommend Gilmore's Auto Service. They are honest and they have integrity. more
