Terrific Italian food. Best in StL. Friendly, helpful and efficient service. They'll customize your order to your liking. You can also avoid the overpriced wine at restaurants...

Worst

Our party of five was seated right away on a Friday night. That should have been a heads up. Our house salads were so heavily peppered, even the teen who ate it without dressing...

Gian Tony's is the Italian restaurant all other Italian restaurants aspire to. In particular, their cream sauces and seafood are extraordinary, but beef, poultry, and veal are also uniformly excellent. The service was god; the food was only fair; they had no healthy menu items. Overall, we had fun, but I doubt we'll go back. Pros: service Cons: no healthy items, food, expensive more

This is one of my favorite places to dine. Their large menu is authentically Sicilian and is very reasonably priced. I recommend their Involtini (appetizer), Veal Chop, and the TIRAMISU!!!!!!! Pros: great atmosphere, great food, great service more

The restaurant has been newly renovated and enlarged with a whole new look and feel and will accomodate groups. Still offers the same great service and personal attention to their guests. more

Italian 6/11/2004

Great place. We have been going there so long our favorite busboy has grown into our favorite waiter. Recently expanded the wait for a table has decreased. Food is fabulous, the staff personable and solicitous. Tony is a great chef. They do have a private room now if you have a large group but I would recommend you make a reservation. It is worth the wait however if you don't have a reservation and are not starving. more
