We are planning our wedding at Searles Castle and were referred to them by the castle. My fiance is on deployment with the Navy , IN ADDITION to us planning a wedding on the other side of the country. So I am basically doing this alone with no help because my family is there as well.\r
\r
I must say they have terrible customer service. We picked our DJ and got all the information together for review. We explained to the office that we needed to review the contract because of limited contact with my fiance with him being overseas. She said no problem (with our wedding being on a Sunday) and that we could back to her in a week. Not even a week goes by and we get a NASTY ""bill collector"" email from Get Down Tonight Entertainment saying: \r
\r
""This e-mail is to inform you that we will be canceling the Contract for Personal Services \r
No. ***** scheduling DJ ----- for your Wedding Reception on ----- unless we receive the deposit by 5pm on ------ . We hope to hear from you soon."" \r
\r
We responded via email, reminding them of their role and of our conversation. Their response was to tell our DJ to call us but they didn't explain why. So our clueless DJ, again unsympathetic to how ridiculous his company's lack of rapport is, said nothing to ease our worries.\r
\r
After the numerous conversations about scheduling, I cannot believe your lack respect for such an important decision. A wedding is an expensive and special event in the lives of two people and their families. Why would I ever book you as a vendor with your lack of people skills and little interest in building a client relationship. \r
\r
My wedding is 8 months away and we were sending the contract that week we discussed (as told via phone). \r
