German Car Specialist serviced my wife's 2002 Audi TT for a simple brake light issue. The fuses and bulbs were checked before the car being brought to Tony and Dan. The frequent issue is the brake light switch we needs to be replaced which was the case here. They charged $347.94 for the work. I questioned the time required (1 hour) and they said it that time was needed to change the switch. I called ""The Imports Doctors"" and ""Fat City"" to confirm and learned they both charged $93 for the work with a scheduled time of 30 minutes. When picking up the car, neither the speedometer nor odometer worked. I returned the car and was told they would fix the issue even though they were certain the issue was non-related. The car sat for one week so I pulled it out of their shop and took it to Barrier. Barrier found the issue was a misrouted/shorted wire behind the R + R Kick Panel ( which had been removed at German Car Specialists when replacing the brake light switch). I called Dan and gave him this feedback and he was going to have Tony (the owner) call me back. Needless to say, Tony never called back. If you think you are getting a great deal, or straight answers, or great service, I would shop around. I thought they did a lousy job of handling the entire situation. I have four German cars, they will not see any of them in the future.
