Geralds Tire And Brakes

\r I dropped off some wheels to which I ordered specific tires from Geralds. I was working until 8PM that night and could not wait. Chad, at the service counter desk, brought the wheels and tires to my workplace, about 10 miles away when he got off work at 4PM. Chad, Blue and Chuck always go the extra mile (literally) to service my entire family with our automotive needs. Kudos to the entire team at Gerald's in Summerville. more

I recently went to Geralds to replace a couple of tires: My wife & I worked our way through the customer service process, all went well, we were told that the work would take about an hour. We sat outside for an hour and when we noticed cars that had come after ours leaving before ours I decided to take a walk around the building I noticed that our car was sitting in the back lot. After which we went and sat in the lobby. After another 30 minutes I took a second walk around the building only to notice my car still sittting in the back lot.waiting to be serviced. I returned to the lobby, and inquired as to the condition of the car: The attendent has a young fellow speak with me, at which time he said he had been looking for me (obviously not very hard ) to tell me that if they were to remove the lug locks they would be damaged and could not be put back on: Which was ok with me because I knew that we would not be able to reuse them once they were damaged. The issue was my wife and I sat there at their facility, no one came to see us. Not sure what the issue was other than this young man was clearly creating an excuse, because removing the lock lugs are not a popular job amoung mechanics, so we sat there, while our time was not worth anything. That is all right. We took the keys to our car back and left: In short, I will be more than happy in the future to take my business to another organization who treats their customers with more respect. more

My car felt as if I have been riding on unpaved land for the past year and I've been to several different shops trying to get my car to operate at it's potential. I always came up short, one shop even told me I needed a new engine. I dropped off my car on a monday morning and they replaced my spark plugs, engine coils and even stopped it from running hot. I got it back the same day and I now have the confidence to travel just about anywhere. ***Communication and Customer Service was excellent!! more

I was in the area, and discovered that my tire had been cut all the way around. I went into Gerald's and asked them to check the tire. They showed me that the tire was cut in spots through to the belts / fabric. I asked them to replace the front two tires and also check the back tires.\r \r They had the exact tires model in stock and did NOT try any 'upselling' or add-on services! They also checked the rear tires, and said they were fine, and had some good mileage left in them!\r \r I got 2 great tires at a great price and was treated well!\r The waiting area was great and clean. The restroom faclities were great also.\r \r Even though the lot was COMPLETELY FULL, I was out in a little over an hour!\r \r Great products, great service, Honest, friendly staff.\r \r Highly recommend! more

Always very friendly and I trust them with my two cars. They've done tires/rotations/oil changes and a few other things for me. I strongly recommend these guys. more

I needed a plug in my rear tire to be able to get home. They wouldn't help, even though the plug could have been done with the tire on the bike. They told me they do plugs on car tires, but not motorcycle tires. Guess they don't like bikers. They won't get any more of my car tire business. I love Gerald's. They really know how to treat women for one thing...they are professional, honest and they leave you a red rose in your car. They have gone above and beyond for me over the years - from fixing an unexpected flat tire to helping me save money on tires. more

Customer service is the key ingredient in this store. The staff is very friendly and strives to make women customers feel welcome. There is always a rose in the passenger seat as you drive away.
