WOW on Hummingbird Cake 10/8/2010

I just had the best cake ever. It was a hummingbird sitting in the break room area of my office. I asked who baked it and the answer from a co-worker who ordered it was Gerald's Heavenly Deserts. It has to be one of the best cakes I ever had. You must try one! more

Banana Cake 10/5/2010

I really don't know how to describe the banana cake. Moist, rich, with a cream cheese icing that was perfect. If you are looking for a perfect Thanksgiving or Christmas cake, this is it. Between the banana cake & the brownies I don't know which one is more delicious. more

Exciting Cheesecakes 9/27/2010

When I crave something really decadent, I automatically think of Gerald's Cheesecakes...I mean, who doesn't? He has a plethora of desserts to choose from. They specialize in cheesecake but also carry other favorites like pies, brownies, and cakes. If you're a cheesecake fan, I strongly recommend you coming here. They have flavors such as Turtle and Oreo cheesecakes. more

Awesome Cheesecake! 9/22/2010

You have to taste the cheesecake to believe it. I ordered from Gerald's Heavenly Desserts for the first time a few weeks ago. I got the original, plain cheesecake- I figured that was the best way to judge if the place was as good as I had heard. Well, I was not disappointed- I am pretty picky when it comes to cheesecake, but this was the best one I had ever had. I can't wait to order again and try some other desserts- they look delicious. more

This online bakery has the best homemade desserts! The Gourmet Cheesecakes are outstanding and the Southern Cakes are out of this world. The Brownies are so decadent and moist. Best Brownies Ever!!! 8/19/2010

I have had some good brownies in my life, but I had the BEST brownie of all time last weekend. Gerald himself delivered these ""heavenly"" treats to us. These brownies were so unbelievably delicious! They were chewy and moist and had amazing layers of flavor. You take a bite and ask ""How does this taste so amazing?"". I've heard that EVERYTHING on the menu is just as amazing and I can't wait to taste it all! more

Old Fashioned German Chocolate Cake 8/14/2010

I found Gerald's through an online search.. Boy did I luck out. I was going to visit Atlanta and stay with a friend who would have a birthday while I was there. So I was in desperate need of finding either a German chocolate cake or a Red Velvet cake that would be as good as the ones I make at home.After seeing the picture I decided on the old fashioned German chocolate. Gerald delivered it himself right when he said he would...Word's cannot do justice to how good it was. But to me the ultimate triumph for the cake was the fact that his mother grudgingly admitted that it was as good as hers. more

EVERYONE who tried the strawberry cheesecake I ordered loved it - including me, and I normally don't even like cheesecake! My boyfriend loves cheesecake and declares it the best he's ever had. Whether you're a dessert connoisseur or someone who only has a sweet tooth every once in a while, perfection says it all. Their wonderful texture, unbeatable freshness, and unbelievable graham cracker crust cannot be rivaled. It's worth every penny AND their customer service is impeccable. Best Bought Cakes Around, Hands Down!!! 7/16/2010

I have a rule about purchasing desserts. The rule is that if I am going to purchase desserts to serve to guests, it needs to taste like I made it. Gerald certainly lived up to my expectations. I was even more surprised because they tasted so fresh, even with them being shipped to Ohio. I ordered a Red Velved cake, a Coconut cake, and cheesecake petit fours for Thanksgiving. My guests absolutely loved everything. Gerald, Thank you for making my holiday cooking that much easier!! Pros: Fresh, Moist, Decadent, Tastes Like Homemade Cons: I don't live in Atlanta :-( more

SUPERIOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND BEST CAKES 7/10/2010

Needed an old fashion german chocolate cake at last minute. GERALD Answered the phone and answered all of the questions that I was asking with professionalism and poise. Took care of all of my issues including delivering the cake himself!\r \r The cake was gone in about 15 minutes. Talking about your grandmother's or mom's cake, Gerald you knocked it out of the park baby! Best Cheesecake 7/1/2010

I ordered a Turtle Cheesecake and Strawberry Cheesecake. I was very impressed by the prompt next day delivery, the wonderful customer service of the owner following up with me the next day to make sure the cheesecakes were to my satisfaction, and also with how nicely they were both decorated. They looked identical to the pictures on the website. Thanks so much for a wonderful experience. I never write reviews, but because my experience was so awesome I thought I would share it. My daughter sent me a turtle cheesecake from this bakery. It came frozen and beautiful. So beautiful we didn't want to cut it. The name of your business suits you Mr. Gerald. Best cheesecake hands down 5/6/2010

We ordered a Oreo Cheesecake from Gerald this past weekend. It was full of calories and very delicious. It looked just like the picture on the website. Not only did it look like a piece of art, but tasted like heaven. it also didn't hurt that the own was so nice delivered it to us personally. I look forward to trying another dessert soon. more

Amazing cakes, amazing service, don't go anywhere else! 3/15/2010

I ordered a triple chocolate cheesecake to be delivered in the Atlanta area. I called to inquire about the local delivery and was surprised when Gerald himself answered the phone. I placed the order and then called to confirm the delivery. Again, Gerald answered and said he would be making the delivery himself. It was delivered as promised and the cheesecake was amazing! Everyone loved it! The presentation, the flavor, the texture, everything was just fabulous. The reviews on here were spot on. There's no reason to go anywhere else. You won't be disappointed! Pros: Great customer service, fabulous cakes Cons: none! more
