Editorial review from Citysearch 2/25/2013

Never again, as soon as my lease is up I'm out, this complex has awful customer service and maintenance. The office workers are NEVER around and I have put in work orders several times that have NEVER been taken care of. During the summer I went without A/C for 2 months. The maintenance supervisor and office workers had no concern that my $750/mo apartment was 98 DEGREES!!! I had to sleep on my couch with all the windows open for weeks! I received no compensation for their incompetence, just dirty foot prints on my white carpet from whoever they FINALLY hired to fix my A/C. The outdoor lights never work, I don't feel safe to walk my dog in the dark. I have had sketchy solicitors and creeps walking around the complex at night in hooded sweatshirts. Broken down cars and trailers that are never towed. All the gym equipment is broken and we are ""banned"" from the tanning bed. I haven't gotten to use the bed once since I've lived here because of the alleged ""vandalism"". Whatever happen to that bed and the equipment is the complex's problem, none of the doors are ever locked or require a key code to enter (until very recently). Oh, and the garbage disposal is ALWAYS over flowing. What's worse is I'm not the only resident that feels this way. I have made several friends in this complex that are packing their bags as soon as their lease is up. Take my advice, DO NOT LIVE HERE! more

Do not rent from them,They dont even deserve 1 star. 4/7/2010

These places are to pricey, the grounds are not kept, The volleyball court they show is a joke we have been here for 2 yrs.it has never been mainteneced.weeds growing out of it and the net has been layin in the middle forever all it is used for is a giant liter box......They never cleaned the pool. The tennis court looks like it is 100 yrs. old,the parkin situation is bad.dog crap everywhere......Around the dumpster area looks like a dump.matenence is never around in a timely matter,The insulation in the apartments are horrible,Your bed rooms will stay cold in the winter and hot in the summer if u keep doors closed and the closets and utility room stays freezin in the winter and hot in the summer.... And last but not least, the management is horrible......And we should not forget the fire that destroyed 2 buildings due to the wireingand how long it took to get that cleaned up and repaired. Pros: non Cons: management, priced to high more

not worth the money 5/27/2008

Loved the place when I moved in: peaceful, clean, new looking, safe, and friendly people. And, even though the rent was at the top of my budget ($650 a month) I thought it was worth it. In three years though, rent went through the roof (people are paying over $720 a month for a two bedroom), because the orginal builder built the complex badly (i.e. cheap materials, lack of insulation in walls, squeeky subfloors, paint that scrubs off the wall, construction grade carpet that mats down in less than a year), the toilet's pipes clog and the tanks run (I've had mine fixed 5 times) so now they tack on a flat ""water and sewage fee"" of $25.00 a month, and people let their dog's feces just lie on the ground instead of picking it up. more

I love living at the Oaks. I have lived in a few other apartment complexes in Georgetown and so far this one suits me best. The managers have always made sure that everything was done in a good amount of time and I love the location it is close to Toyota (where a I work and they also gave me a discount for working there) it is also very close to several resturants, and wal-mart so I never have to fight traffic or have a long drive anywhere. Pros: Location, looks, and great amenities. more
