Stay away from this Gentle Dental. I don't know what the other locations are like, but this one is only in it for the money, not concerned in the least about the patient. I have so many complaints I don't know where to start. Here's an abbreviated list:\r \r --tried to sell me ""preventative"" services which are totally unnecessary\r \r --gave me a quote of $40 for my initial visit and it turned out to be $130, then to make matters worse they mistakenly charged me $140, so the manager was called in to void the transaction. Of course that charge remained in my account for two days.\r \r --the dentist is arrogant, phony, and failed to address a particular tooth that was really bothering me--she said nothing was showing up on the x-rays. \r \r --referred me to an endodontist for work on two other teeth that aren't bothering me at all. I asked the hygienist to show me these ""issues"" on the x-ray and she said ""Well it's really hard to see, but there's this little mark here and there..."" I can't help but think it was total BS.\r \r --gave me a ""treatment plan"" for the aforementioned issues with the total cost near $2,000.\r \r Need I say more? more

An overpriced and uncaring dental office. It cost me around 100 $ for xrays with the visit and 150 $ for a cleaning with my insurance. (which totaled close to 250) This was the most painful cleaning I have ever had and not once did the cleaner ask me if I was doing okay or if it hurt. This was easily the worst experience I have ever had at a dentist. The front desk staff were extremely rude and tried to demand that I sign a form stating I would pay for the entire treatment plan and that I agreed to have it without even looking over it. They also did not inform me ahead of time how much the xrays would be and charged me 40$ for an xray that I felt unnecessary and I asked why I needed it before it was administered. (obviously their way of robbing you of your money) They hit me with a huge treatment plan charging multiple times for surfaces that are next to one another. The entire appointment felt rushed except for the times that I was being ignored while others were ""cared"" for. This is a horrible dentist office and I advise you avoid it! more

I am a patient there and the whole office has done nothing short of being so amazing that my niece and my mother are now going there because of how I brag about Dr. Charnitski's funny jokes with a lesson to the step by step comfort he and Rudy Pohl gave my five year old niece. She loves it there so much she asks me to leave her there when it's time to go. What 5 year old do you know that loves the dentist that much ( unless he's her daddy). Maggie ,Jennifer, Ro, Cindy and allthe rest of you that I know but didn't mention by name(sorry). I appreciate everything you do to make place what it is, it would not be the same without you. Keep up the good work. Ignore the haters. Pros: Nicest people ever! Cons: not one more

Corporation out to make money - not interested in your dental health 1/7/2008

I had to wait 3.5 months to get an appointment for a check up. I was a new patient so I thought it was because they needed more time with me. I wanted to get my teeth cleaned, get xrays and start a regular dental routine. The hygienist saw me. Instead of a cleaning, he told me I need "gross debridement"; felt like a cleaning to me - you know that ultrasonic machine that gets you all wet.!! At the end of the cleaning I was told that was all that could be done today - I needed scaling and something else and after that was done, he could finish cleaning my teeth. I was shown to the receptionist to schedule my next appointments - I would need 2 for this procedure. My first shock came when she gave me a bill for $168.00 for the cleaning which was supposed to be covered under my insurance. Well apparently not but they didn't tell me that ahead of time (and I asked!) The next shock came when they told they didn't have an opening until April! 4 months away and I still would not see a dentist! I paid the $168 and told them I would pick up the xrays when I had a new dentist. f my mouth was in such a bad state why did they think I could wait 4 months to get the needed treatment???? Obviously just a way to make money on insurance patients. I had a friend call who indicated that she was a cash customer and guess what? They scheduled her for the following week!) Pros: parking and close to where I live Cons: wait months for an appointment and never see a dentist more

They made going to the dentist not so terrible! Fiendly, professional dentists, helpful staff... on-time appointment! Great experience! Cons: none more
