Gentech Dentist Hillsboro

I enjoy going to Gentech Dentist, because they know what they are doing. I like that they focus on customer service. I understand that a customer can't always get everything they want, but I really appreciate how the staff at this office really tries. The office also has a great look to it, which helps the experience be that much more pleasant. All I can say is this is a great office to go to, because of the people that work there. I also love that they are across from the Orenco Station, I can shop after my visits. Pros: staff more

This office is the first office I been to with such diversity and friendly environment. My dentist gives a good anesthetic; I don?t even feel a thing when he numbs my tooth. Dr. Terry?s assistants are very nice, friendly and outgoing. I like how they explain and guide me through my treatment to have better teeth; they even offered me payment options to fix my teeth. I use to fear the dentist but after having Gentech as my regular dentist, my fear had been lifted. Most of my families and friends now have Gentech as their dentist. Gentech Hillsboro is the best all around family dental office. The staff is ALWAYS courteous and professional. Everybody from Rachel to Lena to Dr. Elson treats clients with respect and compassion. The waiting room is clean and comfortable and never crowded. The staff is great with children. My five and three year old love the friendly folks. We have friends moving to the west side next month and will definitely recommend them to Gentech Hillsboro! more

My whole family has been seen at the Hillsboro Gentech office. My husband and I were very happy that the office offered a payment plan since we all needed something. My husband appreciated that the office could see him at 7:00am so he did not have to miss work. I appreciated that they had afternoon appointments so I could bring the kids after school. My daughter needed to have a tooth pulled and before her appointment she was very afraid, but Dr. Barghouti was so gentle and caring that it made her experience the best possible. I am glad to have a dental office my whole family can go to without fear of the dentist. Pros: gentle and nice Cons: can't think of anything more

I can't think of a single person I know that enjoys going to the dentist. Usually you associate The Dentist with torn-up magazines from years ago; grouchy, unfriendly employees and that "dentist" smell. That's not the case at this office. I've personally never seen a magazine older than 3 months and when you walk in, it smells just like any other office (no awful antiseptic or "burnt rubber" smells). Plus, everyone is always smiling and friendly ? a rare trait to find in such a busy office! Pros: Terrific, friendly & knowledgeable. Cons: Nothing more

I have been coming to Gentech Dentist over the past 5 years and I am a very satisfied patient. The doctors and staff are always friendly and I like the way I have been treated. The office has a nice feeling when you walk in to it and you can tell that the employees like what they do. There is a definite difference from the friendly feeling I get at Gentech versus the "take a number and I'll get to you when I feel like it" type of attitude I have gotten from other doctors offices. I recommend this office to every one without reservation. more

I am so glad I found dental office, that makes me feel very comfortable and relaxed. The staff is great. Everybody is very professionally and friendly. Schedueling is easy. Ladies at the front are helpful. The office itself is beautiful, clean and very appealing. I was referred by a friend who raved about the office and now very happy to have found a good dental home. Both doctors explain treatment very well and have an up to date office. That was impressive. more

Moving here from out of state I was worried about where to go for my next dentist appointment. Dentists are like hairdressers and doctors, once you find a good one you won't want to change! I have never had a bad experience here, the staff is wonderful and greet me on a first name basis everytime I come in, it's like going to Cheers! Everyone is friendly and helpful, the dentists KNOW their business, I have had a few different ones and am always completely satisfied. There is an orthodontist there as well so all of my dental needs can be met at the same place! I have referred friends to there since I began going there myself, about 7 years ago! This is definitely the place to go if you want a wonderful dental visit. more

Finally giving credit to whoever came up with this brilliant idea of being able to speak out about a place that you truly like, voicing it out to other people out there, guiding them to a place that they would never again have to go through the miserable stress of finding the right dental office. 7yrs I've been going to Gentech Dentist in Hillsboro, it's pretty obvious as to why....... the remarkable quality, the staff and best of all the dentists who actually knows what they are doing. I never thought I could actually say this about a corporation but this place is above that. The dentists style is absolutely unique, the well attired staffs along with that remarkable smile just gives you the reassurance that this is the place that you don't hesitate in taking the time of your day. I'm the kind of person that would support local businesses, but even though this place is a corporation, it feels very humble yet professional and among everything else - this place is REAL. I don't like going to the dentist. As a matter of fact it is my least favorite thing to do! But, this office has made my recent dental experiences the best I have ever had. Dr. Elson and the staff at the Hillsboro office are very kind and made going to the dentist a good experience. I really appreciated how gentle Dr. Elson is while he is working in my mouth. I am also very thankful that they were able to work with my finances and give me an affordable payment plan. If not, I would not have been able to complete the work I needed. My son has also been seen at the Hillsboro Gentech Dentist and I am happy he has had good experiences so he will not be afraid to go to the dentist throughout his life. Dr. Reese the orthodontist at this office put braces on my son and his teeth are already looking perfect. This is just another reason I like Gentech Dentist, because I can go to the same office to see a variety of dentists and specialists! Pros: Kind and knowledgeable staff. Excellent and gentle doctors! I've been to many horrible dental establishments in my past, and it's funny how we start to wonder why every boy and girl hates the dentist. Like Pavlov's Dogs, we have acquired an association of our surroundings (the smell, look, taste, and sounds) to root canals or giant needles piercing our cheeks. Usually when you walk into a dental office, your stomach begins to cringe, your teeth spontaneously starts to ache, and your sphenoid sinus fills up with the scent of year old magazines and 409. Gentech abolishes this stigma of the stereotypical "bad dentist experience". Their staff members have worked diligently on their people skills and it has really shined in the many times that I've visited. This is the only dental office that I've been to that maintains a friendly, person-to-person environment, and yet still function as efficiently as a Rolex timepiece. I would highly recommend Gentech - and already have to many friends, family, and co-workers. Their work is exceptional and I wouldn't trust anything less than pure quality for any of my dental work. Even though I am a student in college, I would definitely pay more for their services. Don't settle for anything less, it's your smile that we're talking about!! Highly Recommended!! I have two small children and as a mom the number one priority is to look out for our children in making sure they are always taken care of. It was hard to find a really good dentist, I've searched through the phone book, talked with some friends and family and they had highly recommended Hillsboro Gentech Dentist. After the kids 1st app't, it was no surprise to why, the kids couldn't stop talking about their overall experience. Just watching them talk about their visit with a smile, proof to me that this would be the office that we would grow with. Thank you Gentech Dentist team for making it a memorable experience for my kids, they look forward to all of their app'ts. more

Seeing is believing with the experience that I have had with Hillsboro Gentech Dentist. I am sure there are a lot of people out that there that probably share the same past experience as a child and had a really negative outlook on dentist. Both Dr. Barghouti and Dr. Elson have helped changed my overall perspective on how I view dentistry. I always believe in strong "Customer Service" and that is exactly what I get the minute I walk in or over the phone. No matter how many times I've been back in for treatment, the front staffs have always greeted me with the utmost friendliest tone and a smile. Continuing to the back, the dental assistant continues to carry the same positive attitude, always reassuring my comfort and making sure I was ok in the chair before paging for the dentist. Both Dr. Barghouti and Dr. Elson have really changed me overall. Their constant reassurance in letting me know what is going on and walking me through on what they are doing before treatment helps me out. It's hard to find a really good dentist who you can trust and build a bond with like which I have here. I would highly recommend this place to all of my friends and family. more

I think Gentech Dentist is a great office. I love the clean and up-to-date atmosphere, as well as the friendly staff. I have seen a few of their doctors on staff and have always had a gentle and comfortable experience. The doctors and staff do a wonderful job explaining my treatment as far as what I need and what my risks are regarding if I wait. I also really appreciated that they billed my insurance and did their best to answer my questions. I would highly recommend this office to all my friends/family and the drive to Hillsboro is worth the experience. Pros: The whole experience from start to finish Cons: nothing more

Dr Elson has a great "chair-side" manner that helps to put people at ease, and has always been very detail-oriented and helpful when I've been in to see him. I have complete confidence in him and even got my husband (who hadn't been to see a dentist in years) to go see him. I started going to the Gentech Hillsboro office because it was close to work, and continue to go now (even though its no longer as convenient location-wise) because I've been so happy with my experiences there. I have been going here for over at least 7 years, or as long as I can remember. There are other dentist offices nearby me, but these guys are worth the trip for me. more

These people have their heads so far up their *sses, they will never see light of day again. If you don't want to have your credit ruined, and be billed for work that was never done,... DON"T, I Repeat, DO NOT go here. The dentists are good, but not worth the risk of your finances.. After my insurance fully paid for one procedure, they continued to try to bill me for it. They then proceeded to bill my insurance for another procedure that was never done, and they wanted more money from me for that. So now, I have a $900 bill on my credit report that I do not owe, and will not pay, and they refuse to even complete the work that they have been paid for. God knows when they will decide to bill me for other random procedures :-/. My next step is to contact a lawyer to try to clear this mess up. more

When made my appointment, I specifically told their billing gal about my dental insurance and that all procedures needed approval. The week before my appointment I called their office and spoke to their billing gal who assured me they had gotten the approval from my insurance.Then the day of my appoinment when I signed in, I specifically asked again if they had gotten the necessary approval from my insurance they told me again everything was approved. At their office You pay all amounts due at the time of procedure, so I paid my portion $ 500.00. Then a few months later, I get a bill for another $ 200.00 with a letter from their billing gal saying my insurance did not approve the procedure. So I would have to pay the $200.00 more. \r THIS IS UNETHICAL AND BAD BUISNESS PRACTICES.\r I LIVE ON SSI DISABILITYAND I LIVE ON A LIMITED INCOME .SO, I ALWAYS MAKE SURE TO INFORM ALL DENATL AND HEALTH PROVIDERS ABOUT WHAT MY SUPPLEMENTAL INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS ARE. \r I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS ORAL more
