This place is excellent. Get away from the chain restaurant's and spend a Little extra at a fantastic deli like this. super good. definitely recommend to people.

You're talking a good sandwich that will knock your socks off, that's what Genova Delicatessen provides. They have any and all types of breads, meats and even have different kinds of hot foods to purchase as well as good sweets! The place is a good place to go at any time of the day if you want to have a good meal. more

They have amazing sandwiches and other things for lunch but also pastas and the like you could take home to feed a family...and it is very authentic--great sauces and a variety of other Italian foods for sale. more

Best Deli in the East Bay! 2/20/2007

I just went into Genova Deli for the first time last month and I was shocked that it wasn't a cookie cutter deli. The meats were fresh, the sandwich I ordered was so fresh I couldn't believe my tastebuds. Also this store offers tons of take home items for all you do-it-yourself'ers out there. This place was a great find and I plan on returning again soon! Pros: Authentic, Fresh Foods, Great Service more
