Great neighborhood 12/17/2009

This place is in a great location. Lots of really cool boutiques in the area. We stumbled upon Genki after having been shopping for furniture at a store around the corner called Global Living. \r There were 4 of us inc. 2 vegetarians, and we all enjoyed our meals. \r We'll be back for their new Monday night Sake and Spins-sounds interesting. excellent sushi for the whole family 11/14/2009

They had a wide range of dishes. Several members of my family love sushi, others like the bowls, and myself I love their tuna salad. Great Noodles, Sushi and Excellent Service 1/17/2009

My wife, colleague and 2 friends ate at Genki on a cold Sunday evening. Parking was easy in front and included free valet. Inside the decor was industrialist chic, similar to what you might expect in Chelsea, NYC. We sampled a wide variety of menu items, starting with saki, then moving onto sushi, sashimi and noodles. The noodle bowls are large and very filling with more delicate broths than you would usually find. Although we always get nervous eating sushi on Sunday's it was incredibly fresh. The neighborhood was very convenient to our hotel and the restaurant easy to find. The wait staff was helpful with the food arriving promptly, the interior space was cozy with a nice view of the open kitchen. Would highly recommend trying this restaurant.
