Hired Mr. Genis based on good reviews, but I might as well have just saved his outrageous fee and represented myself. I could have done a much better job! He doesn't tell you that he lets his inexperienced paralegals do most of the work. They didn't know DMV's phone number and I had to give it to them myself! Then they handled my DMV hearing over the phone, with an attitude that they couldn't care less about the results. Never returned calls or gave me status reports, and mishandled the court appearances so badly that my ""sure-win"" case turned into a nightmare that I had to deal with for months. I'm not convinced he even knows the law because there was no reason I should have lost my very simple case. Don't trust this guy!! more

Terrible lawyer. He didn't show up for one court appearance, I had a failure to pay/failure to appear placed on my record which I spent 6 hours with DMV to get cleared up. They had an assistant/secretary represent my case to DMV which led to me losing that case. No response to emails or phone calls. His fees were close to double the amount of others in the area and I wish I had gone with someone else. I would not recommend him to anyone. more

Man, I had read some good reviews on this guy, so I was stoked. He came up with a pretty good plan, but you know how he handled the execution? Completely MISSED one of my court dates, answered maybe 3 of my 200 phone calls, and on my final court date, he was an hour late, I'm calling calling calling.. Finally he picks up, and explains that he ""thought today was saturday,"" and shows up in a wrinkled a** suit and his hair all jacked up looking hungover, and loses the case just as bad as if I had NOT wasted the $4500 cash and plead guilty. At least then I wouldn't have gone to 20 court dates all pi**ed off.. Seriously, I've never spent the time to write a bad review on anything in my LIFE before, but, I think people should know... This guy is a d*** more
