I went to Genesis at the Avenue for cut and color and since I am on a budget I went with a Level 1 stylist. She did a good job with the color and the cut, but I can tell she will benefit and get better with experience. She was a little bit timid, almost as if she had not yet developed her own style and techniques. Some of the techniques that she used did not work with my hair and she seemed a little frazzled about it. In the end I liked the cut well enough and the color is great. Overall, I had a good experience and I would recommend it. The staff was very friendly, and the salon was clean and stylish. I will return for my next cut, but I will probably ask for a Level 2 stylist.
