Gen-Hoe has a clean soothing interior decorated in creams. The place is well kept, but don't expect the latest style. It has a cafeteria type feel - which can be a good thing. It took me back to a time when I would go out to eat with my grandma. The service was good and very friendly. Unfortunately, the food was very average and pricey for the taste - it was not $50 good. We ordered two domestic beers, a fried tofu appetizer (the kids loved this), kung pao scallops, and veggie chow mein.
Pros: very clean, good service
Cons: For the price, we expected better tasting food or something unique. The tofu appetizer was a good value. No highchairs, only boosters (however they can strap to a chair).
