Best

Excellent! I would highly recommend this place for take out or for eating in!

Worst

Ordered from the pick 2 menu...I wanted 2 of the same meat...they said no...manager said no..very strange?!?! Why be required to get 2 different meats when you only wanted one???...

The Customer is Always WRONG. 7/10/2008

At Geisha the customer is always wrong and the manager is always rude. Here's our experence: Wife and I are the only customers there late one weekday evening. We are going to have the hibachi. We want to sit in the center of the table so we can get a good view of the chef. The hostess tells us we must sit at the far end. We ask for the manager, who tells us we have to sit at the end in case more customers come in a group. Now, it's late, no one else there, no customers are coming in, so we tell the manager that if more do come in a group then we'll move to the end of the table, but that's not good enough for this manager. He's the Manager, the Boss, and he expects us to follow his seating policy...period. Now, he could have said please sit at the far end for now and if no one else shows up then move to the center of the table, but he didn't. If he had half a brain he could have even offered us a free drink while we waited at the end of the table, but he didn't. He has his "policy." Well, we have our own policy, and that was simply to leave and spend our money elsewhere. This place won't last long if they don't learn that THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT! By the way, the place seemed dirty too...the floor was very sticky and the lighting was extremely dark - never a good sign. Pros: Can't think of any pro's Cons: Rude manager and the place is dark and dirty. more

Excellent Sushi, Good Ambiance and Good Prices 2/22/2008

I highly recommend Geisha for a great all around experience. When I first walked in, I thought I would be paying upscale prices, but that was not the case. Service was a bit slow, but everything else makes this my new sushi den of choice. Pros: Great fresh food, good prices Cons: Needs authentic Japanese music more

Sushi For Dummies 12/30/2007

We went to Geisha for dinner on a weekday. We always passed it but never stopped to go in...we should have kept on driving. When first walking in I noticed the place was empty except for two tables and one gourp at a habachi table. The decor is sparse with neon lighting and not much else. We were in the mood for sushi (the menu does offer many more options besides sushi) so we order a few rolls. We started with the calamari which lacked flavor. They were awkardly cut, which made them difficult to eat, and heavily coated with the Japanese Panko bread crumbs but seemed to miss the salt before entering the fryer. The sushi came out with nothing to rave about. Sushi on a plate, nothing else. I'm not a sushi chef by no means, however it is known that sushi is an art, and most of the time displayed as sush. The rolls were loose and the spicy tuna roll will take the roof off your mouth. It's as if the sushi chef learned to roll sushi by Sushi For Dummies. You know those shrink wrapped packaged at the book store that comes with a how to book, a bambo rollilng mat and some chopsticks to boot. On top of that the service was very slow, so was the restaurant which makes anyone wonder why was there slow service? Pass on this restaurant. If you want good sushi keeping driving up to Richardsons Sushi Sake. Cons: Sushi, Food Quality, Service more

Great Hibachi, Sushi Restaurant! 4/13/2007

Geisha is a wonderful Japenese atmosphere! I can't even count the number of times I've been to Geisha. I love it SO much! It's a fabulous place to take friends for a casual meal, but it's also perfect for a romantic dinner with someone special. Wonderful selection of wines, perfectly prepared dishes, great ambience. The hibachi menu offers a great deal to choose from and every dish is presented beautifully. I highly recommend Geisha's for any occasion. more

Great Sushi, good Hibatchi but however.... 1/13/2007

beware if you go for lunch on Saturday or Sunday, we were handed the menu which included the lunch prices and then informed that they dont do the lunch prices on weekends. Both Jinbeh AND Japon DO.\r Both Jinbeh and Japon are full of families on a sunday afternoon because of that, and Geisha was empty. I hope someone let's me know when/IF the owners change that policy for I would go there on weekends for lunch with the family every Sunday!\r \r I must say I went with a girlfriend a few nights ago and it was the best Sushi EVER, service was adorable, ambience was great. I love that they have these high cloth dividers between booths, and the decor is fabulous. Pros: Gorgeous, good music, great sushi presentations Cons: No lunch prices on weekends. more
