Good: Imagine a giant hotel and multiply it. It reminds me of a Vegas hotel in that it is just huge. We stayed there for a couple nights between Christmas and New Years as a little staycation get away. The rooms and the service were all great. I also love the river/creek that runs through the hotel. You forget that you are inside in some places with the creek, vegetation and the ceiling of the atrium being hundreds of feet above you. The only thing that reminds you that you are inside is the perfect temp.. Bad: The parking setup is a little strange. There is a ton of parking but it is just spread out and a little confusing because you have to have parking for the whole hotel complex which is enormous.. Improvements: I would have liked the check in to explain to us a little better where everything was because the place is giant. I also would have liked to have seen more information about the Main Street Grapevine area at check in.. Other: We went to Main Street Grapevine one day to walk around the shops. There is a shuttle but I am not sure as to the timing of the buses because we just drove ourselves, it isn't far but a little too far to walk. There are some neat stores over there and we bought a couple things and had lunch at Tolberts which is an area mainstay. It is a nice place to walk around and feel some history and has got to be one of the oldest areas in the region.. more

I stayed in this hotel for about a week for a business trip. I had a room with a king size bed and marble and granite in the bathroom. This is a really nice hotel. It has lots of restaurants, a river, and a convention center in it. There is a shuttle that will take you to the mall too. I liked the turn down service where a maid came and put music on your radio and gave you some ice. I liked the Riverwalk cafe's food the best. There was a salad bar and fresh fruit. In addition, you don't have to wait to get your food. more
