Spent almost 2k in dinning room furniture... Screw from chair popped after just a few weeks... Their tech came out and fixed it. No big deal. One year and 1 week from date of purchase their toy hill expandable table started caving in. Literally. Called Gavigans and you know what they said? Sorry, warranty is over. I said it was probably a defect since NO ONE ever climbed on the table. Same response... You warranty is over. Stay away from this place. They're disgusting. more

I am sorry I even heard about this place. They had a pretty good selection but what I didn't pay close attention to is that they turned what should have been a regular order (just a coffee table, two end tables and a rug) into a special order--which means no returns, refunds or cancellations. Pretty clever huh. Then on top of that-- they quoted a 6-8 week delivery for END TABLES. Come on what did you have to do, mill the lumber. So this is what I picture for the customer service department (I called)--some big burly women who could give a rip just basically told me TOO BAD-I will get it when I get it and have no options for returning any item because of the clever way they wrote it as a special order.I bet they have bouncers at the stores for unruly customers! Gavigan's -- the SAGA--I waited about 6 weeks for the order to come in. The rug was NOTHING like pictured so I hate it and will never use it. They didnt care. One of the tables was broken. They said they would reorder the glass. When the glass arrived WEEKS later, they made me pick it up only for me to find out it was the wrong size for the table--then i realized they had actually shipped me the wrong table. They promised to reorder immediately. Two weeks later nothing had been done. So they put a RUSH ORDER on it. ANOTHER SIX WEEKS LATER i STILL do not have that table and they have done NOTHING to make this right. Don't go there....with quality often being inferior these days -- it is NOT worth the risk. I feel like I have been dragged into furniture hell. more

The review by collinsv is a fake, she is valerie collins the store manager and if you go to citysearch the review by jderek she replies by calling him stupid and a 10 yr old realy is this the type of person you want to do business with and she has never had a gavigans delivery truck at her house more

i will not buy from Gavigans Furniture Store again. I bought a leather sofa and loveseat and their protection policy if it gets ripped. I have been working with them for over a month on a rip repair and still no progress. First they gave me the wrong protection policy info. I had that company come out and look at the rip, took a day off work, only to find out the furniture wasn't under that warranty. I have been talking to the manager, Phyllis, and still no response, etc. It has been the worst customer service I have experienced. Do Not Buy from Them! more
