Gator Storage Uhaul

My name is Marianne and I want to take this opportunity to share some of the reasons that I am a Gator Storage client. I have been a Gator Storage customer for just over eleven years and cannot begin to describe how fantastic my storage experience with them has been. From day one, I have never had anything but positive encounters with the awesome staff at Gator…..a staff that truly goes above and beyond to take good care of their clients. The grounds as well as the individual storage units are well maintained. Everything is kept clean and neat, and they exercise great pest control. In other places I’ve used (out of state and here in FL) you might be overrun with ants or roaches. Not the case at Gator Storage! I’ve not had to worry about insects or any type of small rodent…none! I originally had a regular drive-up access unit and when it became necessary to have an air-conditioned one, none were available. The Gator staff kept me updated as to when they expected one. They called right away and had it cleaned and ready to move my extra belongings in ASAP. As recently as this past weekend (August 27th) the need for a Uhaul trailer unexpectedly presented itself and Gator Storage Uhaul worked with me and had the trailer ready literally within minutes! It was awesome knowing that they were there for me at a moments’ notice. I know that it may sound strange to some that I might be so excited about a storage facility. But in addition to doing business with me, they have truly become my friends. They know me by name on sight, they do not treat me as “just another customer” or an account number to be billed next month. Sure…..we’ve all seen advertised specials with other companies, but no one can hold a candle to the genuine kindness, concern, and consideration of the terrific folks at Gator Storage. I appreciate them enormously and thank God for all that they’ve done for me in the past, what they do for me on a regular basis, as well as what I am assured they will continue to do in the future. SO…….if you are considering storing some things and desire a clean, well maintained storage unit, then I recommend that you GO GATOR!!! I promise you’ll not be disappointed! I was looking for a secure place to store my things, but I received much more than that. The service is outstanding and the employees are extremely helpful. I didn’t know what size unit I needed but without hesitation I was shown four different locations so that I “could make the best choice for me.” Not only was I happy with my unit I also know that I don’t have to worry about my items being vulnerable to anything. We found ourselves needing a storage facility on really short notice. We were referred to Gator Storage by our friend, Susan Bourassa, and contacted them right away. Although they were about to close for the day, they took the time to help us over the phone and walk us through the process. We made arrangements to be at their facility the first thing in the morning. When we arrived, we were immediately welcomed and helped by Robin Cheri. She was terrific and helped us through a very stressful situation. Having never been to a storage facility before, we were very impressed by its ease of access, size and modern, very clean facility. My husband and I wanted a facility close to The Villages which was not only secure but clean. After researching and comparing many facilities Gator Storage is superior in those two categories and more. The staff is professional and helpful. I am very pleased to have found this place for ourselves and other family members who will keep units here for years to come with great peace of mind and confidence. No Hidden Fees with Gator Storage Thank you Gator Storage in the easy facilitation of my new storage unit. I had been storing my belongings in a national chain company’s unit for 20 months who repeatedly (without warning) raised their rates, had on- site rodent problems and argued when asked to replace burned out light fixtures within the building. Gator’s Robin McLaughlin thoroughly explained the contract and procedures very efficiently. There are no hidden fees and ‘below the belt’ charges with Gator Storage. The facility is clean, organized and professionally managed. They have several size units to choose from and Robin helped me choose the correct size and type of unit for my budget. He wasn’t out to lease just for profit’s sake. Robin’s politeness was well received as I and the moving team had been working for close to 6 hours in the heat and humidity, he offered us a rest in the blessed a/c and bottles of water. I will highly recommend Gator Storage to anyone looking for long term needs or a quick month of an ‘extra closet’ facility. They have trucks and all the moving equipment required as well. I called Gator Storage and spoke with Cheri and explained our situation, she was more than helpful. She set us up with a climate control unit and a large storage unit at a very affordable price.
