Since changing owners I've had nothing but poor experiences with Bavarian Autohaus. I wanted to give the new owner the benefit of the doubt and chalked the first few bad experiences up to growing pains. They do not return phone calls (four times before I finally walked in to book). Last oil change I asked them to check my brakes for squealing (had them all replaced by Bavarian Autohaus about 6 months ago) and to see why my driver door hatchback button was not working. The guy at the counter said he would put it on the order, but when I got the invoice there was no mention of this. I asked to speak to the auto tech and he was not aware of my request. They do not call you to tell you that your car is ready or what services they have done. I've had to call before close every time to make sure my car is ready. My husband also brings his car here and is equally as frustrated. The communication and customer service is atrocious. They should have much better customer service for the higher prices they charge. more

After being a loyal customer of Bavarian Autohaus (BA) for over 30 years, I will no longer go here for they've really gone downhill. The last two times I took my car in for repairs, I had to return it both times (both more than once) for them to get each problem rectified. The third and last time was when my car broke down on I-5. It then sat for over 3 months in their yard and I didn't hear a word. When I called they said that they didn't know what was wrong with it! I finally personally towed it to a nearby garage where they found the problem in minutes and fixed it in good time. They discovered it was a broken timing belt and the idler pulley was loose. The bolt holding the pulley was not tightened by BA and that broke the belt that they had replaced less than a year earlier. Three other bolts were also left missing on the housing. They let their repair warranty run out while my car sat in their yard. I couldn't believe BA would do this. Be forewarned! more

Great service and a fair price. I wouldn't go anywhere else. This shop rocks! I can't believe I actually found an honest repair place to take my car. 5 stars! more

I took my old Subaru in to have some repairs done and I told them what I wanted done, they found I didn't need that much work done and ended up saving me a lot of money. That was a couple of years ago. I still continue to use the services there and the employees they have are fabulous to work with. Thanks Linda more

This is a great place to have a tail light repaired but that’s about it. We took are car in and the mechanic "thought" it was one thing and almost charged us $5000 to have it fixed. We pulled the vehicle out of there took it to the dealership where they knew the exact problem at the cost was only $600. Customer service was terrible!! We had to constantly call for updates. No one ever called to tell us what was going on with our car. The information on my receipt was even incorrect. Trust me, don’t ever take your car here!! more

I have been to many service shops through the years including dealers. I found this shop a couple of years ago. This shop uses quality parts and only top mehanics. I highly recommend them for ANY service work. I have a Chevrolet Yukon but they also service all kinds of vehicles. I have never is all my years of auto repair met a group of employees that know me and my vehicles and they come and talk to me about my car.... unbelievable service !!! more

I have been using Bavarian Autohaus for a couple of yrs now and they are fantastic. They are honest and quick, the crew is quick to anser my questions and they are always helpful. more

The crew at Bavarian Autohaus was very courteous and professional. I had my car towed in and within a very short period of time the mechanic came out and told me what the problem was and Kelleigh the service manager told me what the cost would be and when they would be finished. They gave me a ride into town so I could do some shopping and they even picked me up when they were finished with repairs. I was thrilled they repair bill was exactly what they said it would be and they even washed and vacuumed my car….Bavarian Autohaus has earned a customer for life! more

I have had this shop repair a number of cars over the last few years. The one time I was not pleased Kelly at the shop listened and took care of the problem. I travel from an off shore island to deal with these nice folks. more

Performed work specifically asked NOT to do. Work was careless. Lied numerous times. Over charged! Had to bring to another shop to fix their mistakes. They refused to even talk about what they did wrong, and would not refund money. Terrible customer service, never contacted me about new issues found. I always had to contact them to get any kind of info on my car. AVOID THIS SHOP AT ALL COSTS!!! more

They finish the work when they say they will, they charge the price they said they would, they have very reasonable rates. How can you go wrong? In spite of the name, they do not specialize in German cars only - they seem to be equally competent with all brands, domestic or foreign. more
