Very poor experience, I was seen by PA Denise Criss, when I questioned a procedure she wanted that I felt was overboard she became frustrated and did not want to explain why the procedure was needed, her demeanor changed quickly, she became rude and rushed the remainder of the appointment. I did not feel heard. \r Also poor communication in the nursing department when I received a phone call with test results. The nurse brushed off my concern, when I asked to speak with Dr. Nixxon I was told he was busy that she would talk to him and call me back. I stated that I would prefer to speak with him. Long pause and I was told again he was busy. Overall I did not feel treated like a human and I will not go back. more

Very knowledgeable Doctor and staff 6/30/2009

I would not go anywhere else. Even another physician stated that he trusts them with his family. Use most recent testing which allowed them to id the cause of my pain when no one else could. Pros: Listened attentively, knew recent treatments and tests more

Doctor and Nurses very professional, but receptionist horrible and uncaring 12/10/2008

My husband had a colonoscopy in October at the Endoscopy Center (part of Salem Gastro). The receptionist at the Center was rude, condescending and obnoxious. She did not maintain HIPPA confidentiality rules, and was very rude to me. The doctors and nurses were exceptional, though. Very professional and caring. The dr and nurses followed up with us that evening to check on my husband. They need to replace the receptionist. Pros: Drs/Nurses very nice Cons: Receptionist needs to be fired. more
