Made a reservation the day before but waited 40 min.iI explained My group of seven had tickets to a show and would be late if we had to wait much longer. a table that seats 8 but 2 more chairs were added, people had no room to move.. when the waitress came to take our dinner order she was unsure of the menu and what was available. we waited another 25min and no one ever came to cook our dinner. I was told ""In a while"" . At that point we all left hungry. And had to eat after the show was over. I will never go back to a place so poorly managed! more

Excellent food, service & showmanship. A bit pricey (as are all Hibachi steakhouses), but then you're paying for the entertainment value as well - and they really care about that aspect. Plus, the setting is fantastic - a 16th century Japanese farm house imported timber by timber makes up a large portion of the restaurant, and they have a quaint Japanese garden out back with carp pond, bridge, nice plantings, etc. to enjoy when the weather's good. A nice way to spend the time while waiting for a table. BTW, this is a great place to celebrate birthdays (tell them when you sit down, and you'll get even more entertainment thrown in). I had a 6pm RESERVATION, and was not seated until after 8pm. A busy day, yes. But come on- what restaurant does not get busy. They would not turn anyone away, so the reservation meant nothing. With my 3 and 4 year old, that was the difference between dinner time and bed time. But they were acting well, so we stayed. When we are finally seated, they tried to put my party of 6 with another party of 6. OK, I understand. One problem- table only seats 8. My plate was touching that of a stranger!! We left in disgust. This place is great. We went with a big group of us (maybe 10...) for my boyfriend's birthday. We got there early to have a couple drinks and meet up at the bar which is quite large. They were a little late in seating us but I'd say it was worth the wait. There is an outdoor area which is adorable. There is a stream and fish, and it's really beautiful. The drinks are fantastic and the bar area has a lounge setting with plenty of seats for people to relax while they wait for their table. The food was absolutely delicious.
