We used garvins once a few years back for roots in the drain. they cleaned them out no big deal no floods until June 2012 they did a routine check and it was "oil and debris" cool they cleaned it out but not very well.. by October 2012 we needed it cleaned again. Turns out we were not under warrenty as they only give 30 days!!! Well we paid it!!! we needed it fixed!! Now here it is Valentines day 2013 (3rd time in 8 months) and the SAME THING happened again. I called them. They will not back up their work. We throw EVERYTHING in the trash we NEVER drain oil in our drain.. it seems to me that the first time they just cleaned it enough to get passed the warrenty time so it would clog up and they could get paid again. Well our landlord is going elsewhere and they have lost business from not only him but anyone he or we talk to. more

I called Garvin's Sewer Service because there was a sewer back-up in one of my rental properties. They got out there as immediate as possible and took care of it. The tenant was ecstatic about that. That's not the only time they've helped me out. I use them for my rentals but also personally. They are always prompt and courteous, and the communicate very well. more

I recently used Garvin's Sewer Service for the first time. They installed a new hot water tank for me, and it's top notch. They showed up on time, and conducted themselves in a professional manner. They also picked up after themselves, which I certainly appreciated. Additionally, I thought that they were fair in their pricing. They might not be the cheapest around, but given the quality they are worth what they do charge. I know Kris personally, and wouldn't think of using anyone else but Garvin's for my plumming needs. I encountered a backed up sewer this last week and called upon one of Garvin's competitors, using the "Done Right Directory" which states "guaranteed Home Improvements and Repair Pros". The competitor was quick to respond, cleaned my drain out promptly, and reported back to me that the only thing he pulled in with the snake was a "worm"...which according to him was "not a good sign". He offered a FREE scope of my sewer which of course I took him up on. The scope suggested...or should I say his interpretation of the scope portrayed a dire situation at hand. Such, that my sewer was nearly detached from the city main. Well of course I signed up for a new sewer! The proposal totaled $13,000.00. Thanks to a great neighbor who had worked with Garvins and his urging...I called Garvins seeking some direction. Garvins scoped the sewer for me the following day....and there was nothing spotted in the scope that suggested a need for a new sewer line. Garvins saved me $13,000.00 today and I can't thank them enough. I will be singing their praises to all my neighbors and peers. Thanks Bryan and Mitch!!! See you next year! more

I have known Kris from Garvin's Sewer Service both personally and professionally for years. However, I don't just keep using them because of the personal connection, they've really proved to me that they are a professional business. We had a terrible back up in the basement, and I knew that Kris had said that they didn't charge extra for weekends or holidays so I called them out. They came out promptly and totally fixed the problem and they didn't charge extra! They only charged what they'd normally charge for someone. That was my first impression of the company, and I thought it was a great impression. Garvin's technicians are very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. They take the time to educate us on how to care for our drains etc. I also think Garvin's is an honest company. I checked with them to see if I needed to have them in to provide some up-keeping services and they told us that we didn't need their services right then, and that everything looked good. I was amazed. I was practically throwing money at them and they didn't take it. My level of trust with them was really upped right then. Even though I think their prices are fair and reasonable, I'd rather pay a little extra for Garvin's services rather then take my chances on somebody new just because they might be offering a discounted price. Knowing I'll be more than satisfied with the work they provide is well worth any cost. I highly recommend their services, you won't be disappointed. Jonathan Defez more

Overall, I've been very happy with the service I've received from Garvin's, which is why I regularly refer them to my friends who are in need of the services provided by Garvin's. I wouldn't trust my home to any other company. more

We had a leak under our kitchen sink. The service tech was personable and got right to work. The leak was peroidic and difficult to pinpoint. He took care of several things that could have been a source of the leak. The charges were reasonable. A few weeks later, our water heater went out on a Saturday afternoon. I called,and I was told that a tech would be at my house at about 8:30 Sunday morning. ISSUE: However, nobody showed up at that time. I called RE the status and spoke with Henry Valdez. He told me that nobody had informed him of our call but he would come as soon as he finished his current job. Henry was there in about 40 minutes. He did great work and completed the job quickly. He let me watch and taught me about what he was doing. He gave good instructions as to how to operate the water heater and problem solve. Great guy. I'll ask for him by name next time. more

I've had many occasions to work with Garvin's over the years. They have always provided excellent turn around at a good price. There work is done correctly the first time and I've never had to call them back to complete a job. more

My tech from Garvin's Sewer Service was named Joe. He was very courteous. He told me what he was doing, and where he needed to go. He was very clean about stuff; there weren't any marks when he left. I had them clean my sewer line, and Joe talked me through what was going on. He wasn't there very long. I was very impressed. That was my first time using Garvin's Sewer Service, and I looked around a lot. I also priced many places. I found many business that were way more expensive. Some places were cheaper, but when I see their vans they just look like regular guys with no uniforms or anything. I really like that Gavin's has been around for so long, and they have a professional uniform. Their website gave lots of information. They were neat and clean. more
