I stopped in at Garibaldi's based on the review that was posted in the window, the menu, and the decor. I was there on a weeknight and sat at the bar. The decor is really beautiful - very warm and elegant, but not all stuffy. The bartender was professional & friendly - but not so friendly that he was bothersome. I ordered bloody mary oysters as an appetizer, which were good although not easily eaten. I ordered the special - a whole flounder served really beautifully with asparagus & pasta, which was easily the best entree I had on my 11-day trip. Finally, I ordered a flourless chocolate torte which was small & very rich. My check was around $50, which was reasonable for my meal, including 1 glass of wine. I'm glad I splurged a bit. I highly recommend.
Pros: Beautiful warm & elegant decor; friendly, professional service, and stunning food
Cons: Neighborhood is quite touristy
