I have to say that the former person's post is very ill-informed and one-sided. I am currently a Junior attending Garden Grove High School and the quality of education is superb. Teachers are well qualified and many of my colleagues have gone to prestigious colleges, such as Harvard, UCLA, UCI, UC Berkeley, UC San Diego, Stanford and many others. The school is very diverse, unlike many other schools in southern California, GGHS does not have any majority ethnicity; rather we equally have Hispanics, Asians, Anglos, etc. To say that this is the place where Westminster "dumps their bad apples" is, quite frankly, a hasty, arrogant, and uniformed assertion. I would recommend going to GGHS not only for its splendid education but its outstanding athletics. GGHS is a major competitor in many sports - football, baseball, badminton, tennis, soccer, swim, water polo, wrestling, and basketball. Overall, the quality of life, educational and social experience, and the ethnic diversity is wondrous. I pity the person who posted before me; he probably has never even been to the school or had a chance to meet the teachers and interact with our students.
