Very good vegetarian and vegan food, but too expensive. Bad service, the waitstaff never looks happy to see you and loves turning people away. Very slow service especially when there busy which seems to be always... Pros: Great Veg Food Cons: Bad Customer Service more

We recently moved to Rhode Island from NY after a three year stay in Colorado, and were looking for a place with great choices for vegetarians (I'm one, my guy is not). We've tried Garden Grille once and can't wait to go back. Both of us agree, this place is fantastic. I had a cajun tempeh and my guy had a burrito, both of which were full of flavor and the tempeh was remarkably moist and cooked perfectly. This is the first place in ten years that I have found that has surpassed my favorite veg restaurant that no longer exists in NY (Santosha)...and trust me, that was a pretty high standard to reach! The beer selection was great too. They even had an old favorite from a local Denver brewery (no, NOT the one that advertises on TV). this gem of a restaurant is tucked away in a shopping center near the Pawtucket/Providence border on Hope Street. I am not a vegetarian but had no trouble finding several great choices. And they have take-out. I'll definitely be back. more
