'cuz he mixes it with love and makes the world taste good, right? Check it out, a wonderland of sensual delights and delicacies, most definitely the crown jewel for lunchin' in the otherwise milquetoast Fairmount/Art Museum area. Order a sandwich off the menu, or mix 'n match whatever you can imagine, then stand back and uncontrollably salivate over the hot-and-cold deli case cornucopia layed out before you. As they always rotate their offerings, you never know whats going to be on the menu before you walk in. I dare you to stand their and choose just one, will it be the baked mac-n-cheese, the red bliss potato salad, the BBQ ribs by the pound, the meatloaf? Will you put it on a sandwich, or just have them slop it in a trough for you? How about a rotisserie chicken? Some kielbasa with sauerkraut? And i'm only scratching the surface, here. \r
Most of the staff/management seem to love what they do back there, with the possible exception of the blonde woman, who can be a bit snippy. That would be fine were her sandwich-smithing of note, but what she produces is often mechanical and uninspired. If you're looking for a reuben, nobody is lustier on the grill than the robust mustachioed gentleman. If he's not there, you'll still get a rich, flavorful delicacy, but it won't be a work of art.\r
Pricing is totally reasonable given the quality you receive, but if you are weak-willed, you can definitely walk out of there broke. The best kind of broke you can be.
Pros: smorgasbord for the senses, The Forum for foodies. oh, and they cater. score!
Cons: too much temptation. too, too much...
