They are in it for the money... I agree with Leanne, Over the past year we put our 2 dogs in the hands of GCV and spent over a $1,000 dollars for shots, spayed and a serious intestinal problen in one, Long story short... Last week (Tuesday) our newest pup had what looked like an enverted Eyelid, I called them to see about setting up an appt. as she was also due for her second round of shots. I informed them of the sittuation and mentioned that even though its importent to have her looked at, I was not able to pay till I got my check at the end of the week (Friday). It was like having the door slamed in my face. They would not even look at her. Now tell me this... Would you trust your pet in the hands of someone who could care less if your pet was at risk???? Looks like they are in for the money to me..If I didnt have an account with them or they had never seen me before, then maybe I could understand a little better. But after a 1000 bucks, many trips through thier dorrs and living just 2 block away. Thats American Greed without a heart. This is quite possible the worst vet clinic I have ever had experience with and I am disgusted with the customer service I've received.I took my 4 yr old cat in as she was sick and after testing the Dr gave me an antibiotic to give her as her white blood count was extremely high.Well after giving her the medicine she died the next day and when I called the vet prior as she was failing fast he told me he couldn't do anything for her and wouldnt even see her.I have some friends who took their 7 month old puppy in to be neutered and the puppy died after being given too much anesthesia.This morning I saw a beautiful dog get hit by a car and was in extreme pain so I put her in my car and took her ot the Garden City vet and without even letting me bring her in I was told I would be responsible for all charges even though she wasnt my dog and I was trying to help her.It was suggested that I take her to the sheltyer where I'm fairly sure she will be put down and she recently gave birth to puppies.How in God's name can these people be allowed to care for animals when they obviously don't???I will never take another animal there and hopefully many other people will follow suit. more

Garden City Vet Clinic offers a very caring and compassionate staff. They have a clean office and both Dr.s are very patient and tolerable towards all animals and humans. They offer very thorough animal checks. Excellent after hours care. Dr. Sells is someone with a real concern of an animals well being. They understand pets as being part of a family and not "just a pet". They have a lot of live in cats at the office, so be careful if allergic.
